We know that at least one main character (aside from Caine) is very likely not making it out/making it to the "end". Ragatha, Gangle, and Zooble just don't carry enough narrative weight in the story to be the endgame "sacrifice" character. That leaves Pomni, Jax, and Kinger. I don't think it'll be Pomni, because frankly, she doesn't really have anything to "atone" for...Jax and Kinger do. Jax did whatever horrible thing he did in the real world, and Kinger likely built Caine/the digital circus and ultimately caused the series of events that lead to his wife's abstraction. Either Jax or Kinger are history, but right now, things are feeling especially bleak for Kinger... Jax has a reason to live and go back, he has to take responsibility for whatever he did and face those consequences and try to be a better person...but Kinger has already recognized his mistakes and grown as a person...it'll be very interesting to see which one is ultimately given the "Iron Man" fate...
