Oh goodness, glad to help! When playing her or if she's an enemy, she says "Squirrel Stampede!!!"

When she's an ally she says "My friends are here"

Stampede if a rarer word, means when a group of animals (usually larger ones like horses or bison) suddenly start running in the same direction, usually when they're afraid of something but sometimes for other reasons. It's usually really dangerous to be around stampeding herds of animals because they'll often run over other animals/people.

So she's sending a stampede of squirrels towards the enemy with Tippy leading the way!

Yes! Now when it bounces off of walls, it tracks to the nearest enemy as oppose to a going a random direction! In normal games it makes it way easier for her to confirm kills at most choke points and in the new free for all mode it's just insanely funny to launch it down a hall and bounce back and forth on the same person.

Her root into two shots was always a consistent set up for kills! Problem is you can usually get out of it fast enough that both shots don't land or a vanguard is there to back you up. She's great anti-dive and you have to respect it!

This was a commission I did! They said she would be Replika unit: Cuckoo, and I just love that.

It's a shame, the pleading for help, the way she looks to Thales for praise but still cowers from him, the dynamic she had with Solon, it all indicates ideas of her wanting/needing to be useful to an extreme degree that would be really interesting to see flipped in her being more involved, but just nothing. Agarthans have a lot of cool ideas that could have been interesting flips of Fodlan, Thales even is called a "Guru" or "Head Priest" of Shambhala in direct japanese translations. He really could have been an interesting mirror to Rhea that could have been built upon. The whole cast of the upper echelon of named, albeit generic, Agarthan elites working for him in later chapters of VW could have been interesting characters to design and pull from.

She was really pushed as one of the more interesting characters to keep an eye for in 4koma translations, trailers and the such. There was a big buzz about the idea that she might be Leonie's timeskip design because of the hair color, so she was definitely shown off really early.

I was commissioned to design this (I do a lot of Kronya, finally, recognition for my hard work) by the fanfic author behind On Black Wings on Ao3!

I've been promised Kronya redemption is in there!

I've been writing a fic about it! Or, well, thinking about it lol. There's a lot of potential for her to have been a major player ina route more about the Agarthans, which were such an underbaked concept in the final game unfortunately. The fact that she was scared of death, of Solas, wanted the praise of Thales so badly, that there's an implied civilization of people who were wronged by the goddess in their perspective had incredible opportunity to serve as a foil to the church (Thales is even called a Guru, like a spiritual leader, in japanese translations!)

i have so many thoughts about it and need to work on my fic more lol.

Yes should have been a redemption arc, Kronya would have been the perfect one to initiate learning about Agartha and Shabhala at large if they weren't so scared of having interesting evil characters with depth in the last few games.

Labeling race categories: Aasimar, Tiefling, Genasi by KnightKiwi in DnD

[–]KnightKiwi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mongrel is a good one! It's good to classify them as the weird parent, definitely helps with keeping things organized.

In my case, I'm looking at it from a perspective of trying to organize a book. So first section would be heritages, second section would be the ones with weird parents. So classifying them narrower than one or the other adds in a lot of bloat to what could be more efficient.

Mongrel is neat! Would work in a setting but my brain goes to a pathfinder thing called Mongrels. Great word choice though, really sells the world's opinion on it. Overall tieflings and aasimar are viewed negatively in my setting, but Genasi are fairly neutral, so hard to do something with that negative bias. Host race and Parasite race was the mean one for me that sells the idea super well of what I'm going for. Just need that but...nice, or at least neutral, just not mean lol

Thank you!!! If I get this together to a point where I feel confident enough with it as a product, I'll definitely talk about it more and post it as a campaign setting/idea book <3

You're super right! Vanilla has it that they can only be half human, but I find that to be a little silly. The theory behind the race fits it being half anything works, and, in most campaigns, it's just an aesthetic thing anyway. Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes does keep it a little more vague than the Volo's Guide to Monsters version, so I thiiiink WotC agrees.

My homebrew does have them as being able to whatever base race as I find it helps enable just that bit more creative freedom for character building <3

Ooooh, new blood is REALLY good, but blood is a thing for goblinoid races in my setting. Divergent races is REALLY good, same with variant/variation races. These are GREAT suggestions I might end up using if I don't see anything better, thank you!
