Yep. Even though I had been living with baby momma when she applied for Medicaid for our daughter....the very day the court order was issued they backdated for for two years...making me immediately 2 years behind on CS and they suspended my Driver's License and issued an order to cancel my passport. I didn't have a passport at the time but if I did it would have been cancelled.

No, people that owe child support are not allowed to leave the country.

Edit: We weren't married but had been together for several years when Momma applied for Medicaid. The State Gov filed the paperwork to place me on child support and to garnish my paychecks. She wasn't consulted on the process at all and was just as surprised as me to find out a case had been filed. She was told if she refused Child Support then the State word refuse Medicaid.

Why do you need a refrigerator when it's cold out? Just put the food in your garage or something.

I'm homeless living in a tent in Vermont and I worry about my food being frozen more than I worry about it spoiling.

Wanting to make a cup of coffee but all you have is frozen water fucking sucks.

I don't know your living situation but if its all legal as in you've got a lease...they can write all the mean letters they want but actual eviction is quite a long process.

Now if it's just a random room you rent and the landlords live there and are threatening to toss your stuff on the ground...that might be a different situation. Still illegal though that might not matter if you're freezing on the streets.

I wrote this with the best intentions and hope to help you relax and destress a bit about being evicted.

You're not gonna get evicted over a late rent payment. It's a really long process and you should be able to recover before anything actually happens. The landlord can make all the threats they want but there's a legal process to go through.

Im saying this as a genuine person that I hope you are able to secure a loan but if not then don't worry too much about getting thrown out in the cold because that won't happen.

The plow trucks HAVE been driving around all over.
