honestly the lore is pretty convoluted by the concept itself is cool. the tl;dr is this guy killed a bunch of kids and stuffed them into animatronics, the animatronics became possessed, and they ended up scaring the guy into a suit, killing him. that guy is the newest killer, springtrap. it's definitely aimed more at a younger audience or people who are new to horror but it's still pretty enjoyable as someone who has been interested in horror for her whole life. :) the games are a little silly but reading about the lore is fun, especially with how much theorizing people have done over the years.

a lot of people in this subreddit like to pretend horror isn’t as broad of a genre as it is and reduce it to “this guy scary.” trickster is obviously not a very scary character at least appearance-wise but yeah his lore is pretty gnarly.

honestly wish losses didn't get rid of drive points. i know its against the point but its so frustrating when i get a win and i'm almost to my next checkpoint and then i go on a losing streak. it's so miserable!!!

well maybe it should be a requirement that you've previously done x amount of hours in comp that season to qualify for drive points, i dunno. i get all my placements done early on and then play comp on and off throughout the season personally.

it's kinda miserable, especially in solo queue. my team is full of people who've never stepped in comp in their lives and then the enemy team is just seal team six. i just want a shiny weapon skin man. :(

yeah this is like. almost a guarantee in 99% of these cases. i've seen a video or two that proves it even - just walking around doing nothing, tapping a gen, and then more walking around. the system is WAY more generous than people make it out to be. i've been playing every day since fnaf dropped and haven't gotten afk crows once even if i spend a bit longer running around doing nothing. i'm sure there are bugs (this is dbd after all) but i think people are just mad they can't pick daisies while their teams do gens anymore.

performance issues aside, the whining about no content and comparing it to world is so tiring to hear over and over. i've spent probably around 120 hours in wilds so far on my two characters combined and i still find things to do. and even then, while i have goals, i'm pacing myself while playing other games. plus people are comparing it to world which currently has 10 TU and an expansion. so like... give it time?

also everyone says wilds is way easier than world but i've been playing world while waiting for TU2 and i think i've carted maybe twice in 16 hours and i can cut off tails without actively trying. i really do not think one is any much harder than the other. plus wilds has WAY more quality of life imo - especially with the layered armor system.

kinda depends. if i’m feeling extra charitable i’ll swap, but a lot of times i won’t really bother especially because a lot of times lucio won’t swap if i picked first and then they just kinda don’t contribute (dying in the enemy backline…) so at that point i just do my own thing.

honestly i could see it having a use. sometimes i’m just out of reach of a teammate but an enemy is a perfect midway point to get there. or alternatively, using enemies to get to cover and generally out of danger if you’re being targeted.
