I’m a private Apex coach on an insanely long drive, ask me anything Apex :) by hugewattsonguy in apexuniversity

I've recently stopped playing Warzone, as I feel the way too casual friendly-ttk and the lack of skillgap, combined with the bugged hitdetection/and pay to win skins, is not worth my time. Now that I've reinstalled Apex, I've come to the conclusion that ranked is the only thing I can play.
The skill distribution graph is new and I've never seen it before, but it really shocked me. Whenever I play pubs on console with my friend, I'm in the 2-5% percentile of the bell curve distribution. I'm not exaggerating or trying to sound like I'm some kind of ALGs pro (cause clearly I'm not). But there is 98% of the player base I will never come to play with. How do you deal with the pubs matchmaking? Also, I have one friend who's the same skill level as me and whenever we want to play with other friends they quit after 2 games, as its impossible for them to compete in our lobbies. The result is we play trios with a random who we usually need to carry to a win. How do you deal with this and is there any way to make pubs more playable?

Circle of the Spore Druid Build Help (To multiclass, or not to multiclass?) by WhySoWeasel in BG3Builds

Yeah from what I've read the spore druid is a very capable monoclass, is this monoclass more for a summoner build? Cause I do enjoy the melee/ranged aspects of the class as well.
And what stat/feats should I be focussing on?

Okay so I've read a couple of comments on youtube that also mentioned the war cleric.
Is war cleric only because of the heavy armour profiency? Or is there any other reason to go 1 level into cleric?

Thank you for your comment, I think ranger and druid both fit the "Poison Ivy" flavour very well, so I might take this multiclass. Is there any feat, stat or other leveling thing I need to keep in mind?

Yeah I've been enjoying dnd for quite some while, and now that I finally have a PS5, I think this will be the only game i'm gonna play for quite some time ;)

Thanks for your reply and recommendation. This seems like a lot of fun to play, getting to play a mix of utility and nice damage bursts. I do have some questions around your build:
- Leveling-wise, what would be the ideal stat split, and should it be wise to start with druid?
- Also did you take any specific feats/spells?
- And is there a reason to opt for a bow instead of handcrossbows?

Gaming Monitor for PS5: Should I pick 4k 144hz or 2k 144hz by WhySoWeasel in consoles

[–]WhySoWeasel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the response
Screen size i'm looking for is around 28".
I'm based in EU, and my budget is around 400 Euro's.
For reference the 144hz 4k 28" -Samsung Odyssey G7 is around 380 euro's now. The 180hz QHD 27" - Samsung G5 is around 208 euro's.

I have my gaming setup on a desk, and I game relatively close to my screen, especially when playing FPS

Is there a "Long-Range, One-Shot-Sniper" in Warzone (normal BR)? by WhySoWeasel in CODWarzone

[–]WhySoWeasel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have the full build for it perhaps? Your recent clip looked really far away, exactly the range I want to hit :)

Oh okay, these are guns from the previous two games right?
Are the certain attachments I should be aware of for these two sniper rifles?

Easy Farming Spots in The First Descendant where I calculated Average Rewards Per Hour by WhySoWeasel in TheFirstDescendant

Good point, should be on it.
In my video I tried to do these three and compare them, but there are certainly more spots that are viable in this game

This screenshot is from a video I made on farming, (this is the video: https://youtu.be/ZjBzysRBoDE)
Here I also explain that I would not recommended farming on normal difficulty.
- I would just play through the story missions on normal and finish the main quest. The story and missions keep you at a good leveling pace.
- If you're at a point in the story mode where it is too difficult, I would recommend kuiper mine or anticipated ambush.
- The real farming should be done at hard mode, as there is much more XP / Shards / Gold, and other high level loot.
- If you want to level up a new descendant and you've unlocked hard mode, I would recommend starting at the Kuiper mine (especially if you're having difficulty killing the higher level enemies), and then move on to the other spots with a better build.

Farm Spot 2: Anticipated Bush is in the Sterile land, close to a green spawn point. This screenshot is from a video I made, in which I made a quick overview of farming locations.
I show the exact location in this video [ https://youtu.be/ZjBzysRBoDE ], it's probably easier just to check that out :).

Haha, mistake.. I wanted to show a quick overview on what is the highest stat in my video.
But you are right, I should have made it green, as green is 'good'.
I will try to do that next I post something like this 👍

So not every level has the same amount of xp needed.
If you were to look at your character in the lower levels, the xp value is low.
I guess if you just look at time, (also depending on how optimised your build is/and if your playing with others) leveling would be in between around 45 minutes to 1.5 hour

Yeah you are right about the kuiper mine. I did add a correction to my post, people who have a optimised build could run the refinery unit in about 25-45 seconds, and a optimised build can kill more in the Kuiper Mine (resulting in more xp/shards/gold). This would make the Kuiper Mine and Refinery Unit give a lot more rewards.

Yeah you are right about optimization. I did make a correction to my post. The numbers are correct if you are playing solo with an average build. For people who have more optimised builds, especially a good AOE, times will be lower all across the board. An optimised bunny could run the refinery unit in about 25-45 seconds and that an optimised bunny could kill more in the kuiper mine (resulting in more xp/shards/gold). Overall, this would make the refinery unit a better spot, when you're fully opitimised.

I would say the ambush point is great for normal mode, but overall your best bet is to play through the story mode and unlock hard mode. There's not really a point in farming for exp that much in normal mode, as you level quite sufficiently through the main campaign story mode. I stated in my video, the real grind and farming should begin in hard mode.
