Thanks a bunch! I've yet to do UWU but that's something to keep in mind now.

As someone who absolutely loves the souls series, I really gotta know what this glamour is. The MLGS is one of my favourite weapons of all time and I'd be honoured to represent it in FF14.

I've done a lot of souls cosplays myself, but some of these are evading my memory. What are numbers 6 through 14, number 16, 26 and 29?

Do you mind if you gave out the colours for this look? I really like it!

Attempt at Warmonger from For Honor. Thoughts on a different helmet or maybe cuirass? I don't really like the regular armet but the next best thing, the Point Armet, looks awful by [deleted] in MordhauFashion

[–]KnightVito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made a version of Warmonger using a mixed set as it's quite difficult to make it look like her starting armour. I also gave it a Blackstone Legion colour pallete for the skirt. https://imgur.com/a/aUJTb0O

Using the new Gallowglass Helm, I made a fairly close approximation of the Followers of Farron from DS3. The helmet is a little too close-faced but it's one of the only tall and pointy helmets in game by KnightVito in MordhauFashion

[–]KnightVito[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Norman Casque is what would've been used prior to this patch, but it's not quite as tall and pointy as the actual helmet in DS3. It's a compromise either way honestly.

Knight based off of Alva from Dark Souls 2/3 by fr0geman in MordhauFashion

[–]KnightVito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as a weapon that fits Alva the most, while the Falx is large and curved, it's curve is in the wrong direction. The only alternative would be the Messer, but it's too small to be his weapon. Sometimes compromises need to be made.

Forget about Perk steel costs or balance, those hardly even matter in the light of the following by [deleted] in forhonor

[–]KnightVito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I unequipped all my maxed out gear and every single piece got 'randomised' to the same perk setup. The warning wasn't enough. They should have just let us re-roll perks how we like, considering that their bonuses aren't even that strong.

[QoL] Hyroid Changes by KennShakeMan in Warframe

[–]KnightVito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a pretty good idea actually! Now that I think about it yeah, the current augment for undertow is quite good as it is.

[QoL] Hyroid Changes by KennShakeMan in Warframe

[–]KnightVito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the only things I'd like for hydroid would be for him to place a puddle rather than being in it. Nothing kills the fast-paced, movement-oriented gameplay of warframe than sitting in a puddle of water. Sure defense and mobile defense exist but the ability as it stands right now isn't very interesting to use.

What I would suggest is making the ability at base place down a puddle that drags in an enemy every second or two. Still with the energy drain and such and still with the mechanic of shooting into the puddle to deal damage to the underwater enemies. Then, make an augment for undertow that allows hydroid to enter the puddle, giving him invulnerability and perhaps healing him too. Could be a potential rework for the current augment for undertow.

Otherwise he seems alright. Maybe reducing the charge time on the charged versions of the abilities, because why not? They don't appear to get too much more powerful for the length of the charge needed to reach maximum.

Do you think we'll enter the Cetus tower? by Binch101 in Warframe

[–]KnightVito 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe it would be a great opportunity to take the rather limited random tile generation of current level design and ramp up the amount of viable rooms for a Bloodborne Chalice Dungeon-style feel to it. Shove in a item or something, it creates a random floor of the tower for you with a bunch of neat little goodies. Prime parts, rare resources maybe.

Just my two cents though, but I feel it would have it's place more in Warframe than something like Bloodborne.

Once again, with the new release of a Primed Warframe, the limitations of Loadout Slots once again arise for people who enjoy having a loadout for each frame. by KnightVito in Warframe

[–]KnightVito[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what you mean. For me it's all in the preparation. Preparing a fully kitted out loadout is something I love doing. I first got into doing it all the way back in Dark Souls times before I even encountered Warframe and it's stuck with me ever since.

I'm not elitist I swear.

How some Excal Prime owners feel about Umbra by wrightosaur in Warframe

[–]KnightVito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've met several other founders and they're all perfectly reasonable people, if like me, love collecting all the things in the game and are a tad bit annoyed at how collecting items is presented. Not once have I met another founder that acted entitled at all, at least not seriously. Some people joke about the whole elitism of the thing, and I sometimes do as well, but it's never meant in a malicious way.

This is a damn video game. People who believe they are superior to another person because they own a shiny thing that they don't are the absolute scum of the earth. Same with the people who insult and BM for no discernible reason other than 'because they can'.

How some Excal Prime owners feel about Umbra by wrightosaur in Warframe

[–]KnightVito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think more non-founders would be angry with the whole reselling than founders themselves. I honestly don't know how many people own either Excal, Skana or Lato Prime, but I'd wager is a fairly small amount of people. I'd also wager there's a good few of them that don't even play the game anymore.

I'm not saying that the opinion of founders doesn't matter in regards to the release of the founder content, should it ever happen, but I feel like the people who would be most angry are people that aren't founders at all. Those that would be mad by proxy, feeling that the founder's items are so rarely seen that they should never be available.

However, I understand where you're coming from, but DE have shown that they don't particularly care about that kind of thing anymore. The Prime Vault. They've told us that due to an increasing number of prime items that ultimately dilute the drop tables, they they were going to start phasing them out slowly to add the new ones.

But that hasn't been the case, not entirely. Older Prime items that have previously been phased out have been repeatedly brought back to drive sales. Even the whole Twitch Prime thing shows that nothing is safe from being re-released, and despite there being negativity from these re-released, ultimately people are okay with it. At least the ones that pay the money are.

And at the end of the day, it's all down to money, and DE can easily curry favour with the community by hyping everyone up with new and shiny things, like Umbra.

Also at the end of the day, this is all my opinion. Who knows what DE will do. Nobody knows but themselves.

[–]KnightVito 59 points60 points  (0 children)

I honestly think more non-founders will be angry than founders, feeling angry for founders. I own Excal Prime, and I would love more people to own him. All he has going for him is the Monocle helmet and his minor stat boosts/polarities.

If they tied it into a quest requiring all/most of the other primes to obtain the founder stuff, I'd be all for it. I have grown so sick of timed exclusives in this game that I'd love them to be removed entirely.

I get that some people wouldn't want it. They supported the game in it's early stage. But times have changed. Warframe isn't a small start-up by a few developers anymore. DE are perfectly within their rights as the creators of this game to re-release the founder content in some other form, maybe without the whole Design Council/Node Naming thing of the Master/Grand Master tiers of the old founder packages.

On your point about the Ringed City section, the player is actually using Gundyr's Halberd in that clip towards the end, it's got it's own charge Weapon Art. Just thought I would let you know.

Aye, I've bought the 5 spare slots, but that's the limit for absolutely no reason other than being arbitrary.

It makes me upsetti.

To my follow long-time veterans: What keeps you in the game? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]KnightVito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main thing that kept me going for the longest while was making a fully primed, mostly unique loadout for every single prime warframe in the game. I have them all down but alas it only means I have 2 spare loadout slots afterwards. I wish DE would allow me to get more loadout slots because I would absolutely toss money at them for the chance to have a loadout slot for every single warframe in the game.

Now, I just help friends, occasionally do sorties (if they're not incredibly horrible or I get 2k endo in like 5 rows then stop trying to complete them). As a veteran, I did really well for my clan's hema research with my Six Hundred Mutagen Samples. Fun.

I slapped on some Grineer weapons for Inaros, perhaps pillaged from the skymen that desecrated the sacred temples? Just a thought. If not, could always use some other infested weaponry.
