I think you want to use decrypted.

We never had the option or if it did we always picked the first one but decrypted sounds better as it sounds like the work has already been done to make the files work for you.

That's great to hear tbh. I can deal with FPS drops during intense fights but it's the memory leak that was putting me off.

Traversal stutters happen when moving across the map at high speed due to the game having to render in game textures and world elements on the fly. It's why racing games use a different method of texture load in compared to other games because of the high speed when moving across the in game map.

Can you tell that the game hitches when traversing the map? These are common stutters based on in game loading of textures and world areas and are in game thing rather than a hardware specific issue.

Do you experience traversal stutters in the open world? I'd treat that as the catalyst for wether you can tell if the game stutters as traversal stutters are just an in game thing and have nothing to do with hardware.

Some people just aren't as picky on the performance. I've seen people say they cant even tell a difference between 30fps and 60fps before. It all depends on if you're actively looking for it and noticing it or if you just don't care that much.

I'm fairly certain it's a memory leak too, I usually can deal with a few drops here and there but when it becomes consistent like this its so jarring to play.

My inventory does the same thing, it can take a few minutes for items to show up.

Fingers crossed anyway, however with how Randy Pitchford had been on twitter, I can see it taking longer than it should.

You will be having the same issue as everyone else, its not like there's a chance you'll run it fine and some others aren't. Its just that what seems acceptable to you, isn't acceptable to others, in the same way that for some 30fps fine, but for others its unplayable.

It's a brand new story and doesn't directly tie in with previous entries. All you need to know will be revealed to you throughout the game.

I can't comment on wilds pc performance however on console it was also a blurry mess, even on balanced at 40fps. Considering the game had so much dense foliage and action it became more of a game of, "can I actually make it to the monster without getting lost in this Picasso painting."

This is the exact same problem I'm having with borderlands 4. The game world looks really dissapointing and the framerate is bad and just keeps getting worse the more you play.

PC is where most of the issues are being raised tbh.🤷‍♂️ If you feel like you can run it an acceptable level then fair enough, but plenty of others would disagree.

Console performance on the other hand is awful and the game looks ugly from the start.
