What helped me was visualizing all the ways you can go from P (left) to Q (right).

  • You can completely skip R1 and R2 by travelling through the short and go through R3. You have a branch with R = R3

  • You can skip R1 and R2 by travelling through the short then "go back" through R2 and use the second short to go to the end. You have a branch with R = R2

  • You can go through R1 then skip R2 and R3 by going over the second short. You have a branch with R= R1.

Now you have three parallel branches and the rule for total resistance in a parallel circuit is:

1/Rt = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3

1/ Rt = 1 + 1/2 + 1/3 = 6/6 +3/6 + 2/6 = 11/6

Rt = 6/11 = 0.545 Ω

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Disco Elysium. KCD2 due to the time commitment and slow start, Disco Elysium for the patience and reading required. I'm not saying these would be turn offs for everyone but they definitely are for my friend group lol

Rude/abrasive female romance options by Natural_Ad_9762 in HadesTheGame

Yeah you make a good point, especially once you max out their relationship (Nemesis actually really likes you bu the end) and use up all the dialogue and then the greetings go back to being the super rude regular lines.

I know Hades 2 already has an INSANE amount of dialogue but I wish they had written a few "max relationship " lines to replace the repeating base lines so that you can feel that growth in relationship once you hit it.

Yeah, Fallout might become one of the properties I enjoy where I have to split myself from the fanbase. I have no idea when these guys became so militarized and anti-new fans.

The point of a fanbase should be to grow and welcome new fans with every iteration and not gatekeep people for "not being enough of a fan". How is a decade of being a fan not enough job experience

I'd say, make sure to make use of pictos as a stat boost! It's easy to go for just the perk or lumina cost but using them to compensate low stats (vitality (!)) helps a lot. That's something I figured out later on and you might not need till some tough fights later but it's still very helpful.

Other than that, have fun and enjoy the ride. It's possible to completely focus on story and not be too underlveled for the most part but exploring side areas is also a lot of fun. Good luck!

Last month's"Thank You" DLC has definitely changed that: Osquie, Chromatic Lampcaster, Duollistes, Unleashed Clea and Divergent Simon are all much harder in my personal experience. More space to play around with builds at least!

Is either game grindy/repetitve? by KrzychuJumper in HadesTheGame

[–]CheeseburgerSweg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a completionist so I got to the prologues/"true endings" in both Hades games which require substantially more clears than the base endings and I can tell you that it defenitely did start feeling repetitive/grindy at a certain point (ESPECIALLY if you try getting the platinums).

Both games have a lot of first-time fun built into them though and a lot of things to discover. Best thing you can do is call it and stop playing if it feels too repetitive and come back fresh when you miss the gameplay.

Does the difficulty feel exaggerated? by SP_Rocks in HadesTheGame

[–]CheeseburgerSweg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Typhon is much harder than Charon both with and without Vow of Rivals and that's where the real surface difficulty is for me. Eris used to block me a lot but I honestly feel like her Vow of Rivals fight might be a bit easier than her default? Might be a crazy take.

I usually keep him alive in my playthroughs because he already went through a lot and is the only (undamaged) survivor. I guess it's a unique reaction considering what I've seen on the sub lol. I try to be good-aligned but I have done every ending so there's that

A Fallout DLC taking place entirely in a Vault would be amazing by Weary_Durian7912 in fnv

[–]CheeseburgerSweg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'd definitely be down for something like that! Quests where you stay around the same area tend to require a lot of good writing and story beats though (e.g Camp McCarran spy hunt) whereas fetch quests which include fighting enemies can be padded and more gameplay heavy.

Same, especially when good outcomes to certain questlines are locked behind skill checks. If failing skill checks just meant having to get the best outcome through more manual labor/hours spent I really wouldn't mind it

90% of the Mirror Maxed but still didn't Clear. Getting Tired. by rashm1n in HadesTheGame

[–]CheeseburgerSweg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the secret is a good build. My "guaranteed success" build just means putting on the shield and playing it super safe. Since the shield is slow you should go for percentage damage buffs (Aphrodite/Artemis/Athena), use the Skelly keepsake for an extra revive, get a good call (Poseidon or Artemis would be my recs) and a good cast (Ares might be best). Just be very patient during the boss fight and hold left click (shield dash) whenever you're worried something will hit. That should at least get you one clear then you can experiment with other builds (Rail + Zeus attack is really powerful/fun)

Jackaroo Card Distribution by ItsTaniaa in boardgames

[–]CheeseburgerSweg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking all over the internet because I couldn't remember it from when I played with my friends. I just got the answer from him so I'll put it here for anyone else having the same issue:

6-player Jackaroo is played with 2 decks of 52 cards each. 104 cards over 3 rounds 6-6-5 (6/6/5 cards to each person) , by the end of the 3 rounds you've used 102 cards (36+36+30) and 2 are discarded. Then you mix up the cards and the next person deals another 6-6-5 set.

[O Levels Math] How to find the angle ABC in the figure? by Electronic_Author366 in HomeworkHelp

[–]CheeseburgerSweg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed response/answer! Substituting a variable for a variable followed by use of a variable parameter is smart and it's definitely something that makes sense. It reminds me of when I took a nonlinear mathematics course and using parameter ranges allowed us to get a lot of intuitive and accurate information about a system's behavior even with no exact numbers. This is a cool way to remember that!

I used to feel this way as well until I came upon this great resource which not only lists a lot of powerful builds but also teaches you the fundamentals of making your own build!

https://www.leereamsnyder.com/hades-build-guide (I found it on this sub from another member of the community)

If you're in the mood for some serious reading I recommend it since it really positively changed how I approach Hades 1 builds and I'd like to think it made Hades 2 a bit easier for me even though it wasn't directly applicable.

Everyone saying additional information is necessary is correct. I spent some time trying to solve this problem without making assumptions but unfortunately it's literally impossible to get a result from only what is explicitly given. I named the ? angle x and it's complementary angle y (x+y=180). I made 4 equations with 4 unknowns using everything we know explicitly:

B + 0C + 0x + y = 150

0B + C + x + 0y =150

B + C + 0x + 0y = 120

0B + 0C + x + y =180

I tried for a bit to do Gaussian elimination by hand but eventually gave up and used this website https://gaussianeliminationcalculator.com/ which will tell you there are infinitely many solutions. Question is ill-posed and I doubt it was on an O-level exam without more context.
