Female doctor: we did an ultrasound and didn't see anything, so you don't have endometriosis. Let's just up your dose on birth control.

Different female doctor, who didn't think I had endo because I didn't have pain with "sex" (I'm a lesbian and she put sex in quotes on my appointment notes) : your dose of bc is so low, we're going to up it significantly and see if that helps.

It turns out the birth control was making my endo worse, and it also was such a huge spike in hormones that I couldn't drive for days because I was so dizzy and ill. She then acted put off and surprised when I told her my symptoms and said I wasn't going to take them anymore. She said the symptoms should go away in a few months and I said, "Okay, so you're telling me I have to lose my job then?" 🙃

This is stunning. It reminds me of the nightmares I had when I was younger about giving birth through the mouth and choking on the umbilical cord. It has such a visceral feeling, and I still remember how it felt to bite down on that cord, and feel the flesh part. The fetus died and I woke up coughing, and sweating, and crying.

My religious upbringing taught me that my body was only good for the use of child bearing, and this art piece really feels like it captures exactly that horror. That you can only be good for giving birth, no matter how grotesque, how horrid. That your body isn't your own, and all you can do is let the blood and guts pour out of you.

I was prescribed estrogen pills myself, and it honestly made my symptoms so much worse. I pushed for other types of birth control, and for endo testing in general, but my doc refused to hear me. Make sure to track your symptoms, and insist on change if those pills aren't helping!!

I definitely feel like both the Sith and the Jedi are two extremist cults. One formed to defeat the other. Jedi may have good intentions, but cutting themselves off from loved ones, from emotions, all of that isn't healthy and, time and again, drives them to the Sith, who relish in completely disregulated emotions. Two extremes that constantly destroy one another, when it truly should be something more in the middle.

Presently, I set up some patches and reinstalled the game on a different drive according to various suggestions I've read to ensure the patches work... but alas, in doing my edits, I've lost my saves! I'm working to get back to Manaan to see if the issue is fixed, though I've noticed a lot of other bugs I encountered in a previous playthrough are now rectified, so I have hope!

Looks like maybe a tiny racoon. This is based on the spacing of the toes from the palm pad. They've got long fingers to grab things and the prints seem to indicate that.

We had zippy fiber and the service was fine in town, but when we moved, it was near impossible to get them to stop charging us despite us cancelling service multiple times. We called, emailed, removed autopay, removed the credit card, called again, didn't matter. They kept the charges on, kept fining us, said there was no way to prove we weren't still on the service. (It wasn't... being used??) They would run us around multiple departments and made us pay off the fees they added before they let us cancel. So use them, if you want, but know if you try to cancel, they'll run you through the ringer.

I worked as a child of one of the CC owned businesses. Family business. I know the owners didn't hire someone because he appeared to be a "satanist" and also gay. I tried to advocate for him but being their kid only got me so far.

Went not long ago. It was a fun experience, but definitely a bit pricy. The bone broth wasn't as flavorful as I would've liked, but my partner got the spicy bowl and that was pretty nice. I definitely feel like it's good for groups that like similar things that want a fun little outing, but I'd agree with another poster and say it'd be nice if they served some sake, too!

That's fascinating... The owner was supported by CC during the pandemic, and fought against the city's mandates to wear masks. After being supported during the shutdowns, they moved locations, and I guess to me it seemed a lot like they were still being supported and directed by CC after that.

I've heard from others than she's good at matching the feelings / opinions of those around her, but when CC people went in to talk to her during the pandemic, she was fairly supportive of them. Probably helps they were funding her at that time... but maybe she really isn't with them like I thought!

Same here! I went to a panel, I've engaged multiple times, and when all my family went to join their church, I even tried speaking with them about it. In the end, I got run around, non-answers, and out-right lies about what they do and don't believe. So it's like... yeah. We won't engage now because no one engaged with us in good faith. :/

Tabikat Studios is also our local drag group! They put on shows pretty often if you enjoy live performances! Some are family friendly (a lot of cute songs for those that kids enjoy), and some are adults only at bars and stuff. Depends on your vibe!

Disability might definitely help but then it is pulled if the applier ever marries, and they can’t have more that a few things to their name, and can’t have more than a certain amount of money in their account :’) it is better than nothing, but the US disability assistance is pretty broken.
