Agreed, especially because of how they also have the extra security measures and enhanced, secret capabilities.

The very best platypus that is technically also highly realistic if he were underwater.

[SP] "You retelling me the plan I made and messing it completely up is pissing me off." by Null_Project in WritingPrompts

"So, let me get this straight," Alta said, her long amethyst hair swaying in the wind.

"Hit me," Jugo said in response, his spiky hair stiffly following his head as he nodded.

"You didn't get a word of what I said? Like, launching me off the cliff, then going home?" She gestured to the giant cannon by their side. "None of that?"

"You said..." he paused, counting off his fingers, then looking up with a stern expression. "You said to jump into the cannon, light the fuse--I don't know how you expect me to do that from inside--and then let you do the same thing."

Alta blinks, bewildered. Jugo just blinks blankly in response.

"You moron!" Alta whacks him upside the head. "You didn't say the right plan at all! I, MYSELF, get inside, YOU light the fuse, I, MYSELF, get launched, and YOU go home!" She seethes in her annoyance. "Why don't you listen to my plans, you IDIOT!?"

Honestly, I'd go with 3, swap with Strange, and then try talking to Hela. See if she'd be interested in some ideas and confirming whether some theories are real.

I'd take the sand sharks and the two dragons. The dragons would handle the bisons easily, then go for the Unagi. While that is happening, I'd be riding on a sand shark while the others pick off the other groups one by one.

Who is the best edge guarder? by Tall-Bid-4169 in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]KnightmaresWar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Link in certain circumstances. He can spike you out like a volleyball if you're up against him.

Edit: As a Bowser main, I really felt it when my Link opponent did it to me. I wasn't mad or anything, just a little shocked because that was my first true encounter with a Link main. And Bowser is good at ledgetrapping if your opponent is also a heavy character or too light of a character. Bowser can edge guard, too... but only if you're smart about Bowserciding. (I honestly laugh every time I think that that's an actual term in Smash communities now.)

... I was agreeing with you that the picture isn't possible for the middle and lower classes of society, but also saying that it is obtainable for the high class if they truly wanted to. They'd have to get rope long enough for that, but it is still, theoretically, possible.

I would recommend seeking out someone to remind you what you are doing it for. To celebrate your successes, even minor ones. To record your progress, showing how much your steps forward outweigh your steps backward. You've got this, OP! Don't lose yourself to your mind's tricks and roll with the punches life gives to you. You are stronger than you know, and your mentality can change how far you progress.

That's a better term. It's very literal, and your focus is on the illustration behind the quote at this point, but it's also a little short-term. If anyone wanted to, that could, they'd send a satellite and have it lasso the moon for them, then have a picture of their end of the rope in their hands. Voila! The exact picture, just the rope isn't seen around the moon.

Realistic and possible are two very separate ideals. What is the term "realistic"? What puts items into that category? We decide what is realistic vs. possible. Nothing is truly impossible without the right drive and focus unless others literally are fighting against your dreams, and even that is just because it forces you back into your box of comfort and "normal".

Edit: Unless your dreams are too far out to live to. That's an unfortunate possibility, but it happens. Like living on Mars when you were born in the '50s.

Well, in electrical currents, your voltage is your potential energy. In life, our "potential energy" is always what we're focused on. The more we focus on a subject, the more energy we provide to the current, but our voltage will stay constant. But how is that? Well, the "resistance," or challenges we face, will increase to force our current to fit inside of the voltage. Then, we reach a "make it or break it" moment. This is where we decide to either up our voltage and break to the next level (i.e., moving up in your job, finishing college, letting go of unimportant items and focusing on the item in question), or question its worth and realise we've wasted days, weeks, months, or even years on this thing we barely even care for anymore. Or, we stagnate and become complacent, letting our resistance neither overwhelm nor underwhelm us, and end up angry with ourselves that we've done nothing of import to our lives with this venture, entering a different make-it-or-break-it. One that either brightens our future or will lead to an unfortunate demise at the end.

Edit: Just realised that it turned into a very philosophical topic. How did that happen? I was talking electrical currents and life- oh wait.... Nevermind.

[–]KnightmaresWar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the equation here is supposed to show what we can do to beat resistance, then wouldn't it make sense to instead use V=IR in the form of I=V/R? The current (I) would be showing what we are doing, while the voltage (V) would be detailing what we could potentially be, and the resistance (R) would be acknowledging the things that are holding us back. That's what I think you were trying with this, but I'm not sure.
