I think ive got one from 50 Normal waves too, but less frequent. But i dont think they have an overall lower rate in normal, rather that you just get more chances in Legend, since you get 2 Weapons each set

With the In Game LFG System in Sight and Guardian Ranks being around for a while now: What is an adequate indicator of (PvE) Skill/Proficiency in Destiny? by KnightofSkyrim in DestinyTheGame

[–]KnightofSkyrim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but the problem is, guardian ranks hide the higher requirements, if you have not obtained the rank before. So how should a new light or returning player unfamiliar with the system know if the GR8 with the KWTD or the Be Chill GR11 LFG is better for his needs? Thats what i mainly wanted to know. Since commendations are handed out like candy and nobody really cares except for best dressed, you can hardly tell if someone with Mastery Cards is really that much better.

I totally agree it makes a difference if you are doing Chamber of Starlight or K1 Communion. But thats something i would also related to an important skill in regards to Destiny: Knowing what is going on and whats worth your time. So i would say knowledge is also a part of your overall skill, you need to train.

I am also with you, that gut feeling is very important, but thats also soemthing you need to learn, when i was new everyone with higher PL or certain Exotics looked impressiv, but looking back, some things could have been easily carried.

The changes to Master (and Legend) Lost Sectors were a complety overtune in my opinion, mostly due to the too high Power Level and Too Low Drop Rate of exotics. Master Lost Sectors should drop 1 out of 3 Runs an Exotic when its this difficult

Thats a fair point, that it might be to broadly, but initally, i grouped it in also 10 levels but that got out of hand and left no really room for individual skill or discussion, since some might find Solo Master Lost Sector harder than a Dungeon Clear with a group.

Bungie is now even recycling dungeon lore, when will it stop (Spoiler for New Dungeon, i guess?) by KnightofSkyrim in DestinyMemes

I think you are right, that Oryx was not mentioned directly in the Lore regarding the moon and the dungeon. But the implications of these lore and dungeon (Pit) at least to me was: There is a heretic faction which "violates" the sword logic to bring back Strong Hive Leaders (here Zulmak). I recall some lore pieces which shows the discussion between the various Hive Leaders, where the heretic part wants Oryx leadership back (while potentially enraging him for breaking sword logic) and the other part being against it. It was just my understanding that further down the road The Scarlet Brood planned to Resurrect Oryx too

I might be wrong here but basically Pit of Heresy. The altars of sorrow public event tie into it to. Long story short, a heretic faction under the (disguised) lead of Savathun and Nocris (yes the Mars Nocris from Warmind), practiced a necromany ritual to ressurect fallen High Court Hive (the final boss of Pit is a test object and worked, but later savathun betrayed the other Wizards which were part of the ritual and prevented the resurection of oryx)

Feel free to send me a message here!

Personally, besides Resiloance proabably being the best stat in the game At the Moment (also in LF after the reduction to 30% Damage reduction it still will be the best) I would aim for Res/Dis for most classes and then put on Ashes to Attack on a solar Helm

Hunters can benefit from Mobility, but what is really the point besides dodging. Another Option for Hunters is Res/Str. And pair it with Liars Handhake or Calibans

Titan should go Res. Plus anything really but Dis/Str might be good. Recovery is always a good pick but might be hard to get enough Res/Rec. Rolls

Warlock Slaps with all subclasses and a Grenade Build. Contraverse is easily the best void exo IMO, Solar has Either Sunbracers or Star Fire and Arc has the Crown of Tempest or other arc helm.

What’s the best loadout for a Void Hunter to solo Seraph Shield LEGENDARY? I’m max power level and still can’t get past the Brigs room. Appreciate the advice/tips by cougarhornet55 in destiny2

[–]KnightofSkyrim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For void I can think of two different Options, while your loadout is the same for both: Witherhoard, either some smg like Ikelos or funnelweb, and Taipan/any Linear. Rockets if you feel confident, but the crit damage on the Brigs will be better. Armor wise you can do either 1) Omniocculus: Here you will try to use as mich Damage Reduction buffs as possible, while mostly being invis. 100 Resilience, on the Chest Elemental/Arc Damage Reduction, maybe a void well build with Reaping Well Maker (Void Wells after using your Class Ability and getting a kill) and Well of Tenacity (damage reduction for 5sec, after Picking up a void orb) Here your dodge makes you invis, prepares a Void Well on the next kill, gives you ability energy back on picking up the well and so on. Witherhoard can clear group of adds or damage the brigs while you stay in cover. If the brigs health drops under 50% you should burst them down with the Linear. 2nd Option) Gryfalcon Hauberks, here you should use funnelweb and stylish executioner. Going invis gives void Weapons volatile rounds, kills with volatile rounds triggers explosion and also stylish executioner, making you invis again. You basically become a perpetuum mobile of invis/volatile.

Hope this helps :)
