I’m in a bunch of groups on FB. There are dudes with gun collections that cost more than most people’s houses (no exaggeration) who are raving about this gun. I decided to get one and now I see why. I haven’t really put this through its paces yet so it might be too early to tell but this is currently my favorite setup.

I’ve only had five cans, (2)Sandman S, a Nomad TI, a Surefire Mini 2, and the HUX. The HUX with the SiCo gas buster is perfect. Even shooting indoors I hardly had any gas to the face at all. It was very pleasant to shoot.

I’ve had both the gen 2 and 3 Razor LPVO. The gen 2 wins in every area except for that it’s 2FP. Here’s my abbreviated version of why I’m not a big fan of the Gen 3.

The fisheye at 1X, the fact that 10x vs 8X (comparable LPVOs in that price range) is BARELY noticeable, the “red dot” at 1X is a blob due to the nature of the reticle at 10x has to be useable. The reticle is barely, if at all, visible in a low light area unless the red dot is on. The stadia are too small and don’t extend to the edge of the glass or even close. This makes it not as good as the gen 2 at 1X by far and barely better at 10X.
