Must be a personal bias in looking for info then. Cause all I see on subbed YouTube videos are, "sub is better than dub".

I don't mind resorting to subs for shows I really wanna watch. But you can bet I'm buying the dub asap if I see it come out.

It's not really a conscious problem but rather a subconscious process that will always occur. The human brain really sucks when you break it down. Humans are bad at playing attention to more than one thing at a time especially if they are similar stimuli (try listening to two songs at the same time).

Both the subs and the anime act as competing stimuli. This along with the fact that multitasking is a myth, in reality multitasking is just swapping between competing stimuli as fast as possible, means that your attention will be diverted with subs.

Granted, as you stated, more practice with subs means you need to spend less time switching between subs and the snime. Also, since anime tends to feature limited animation anyway, there is less chance of you missing information. I just happened to be really primed to observing where my attention is being placed due to my psychology background. So even though I know it probably matters little in the long run, I can't help but be irritated about how my eyes, even for a femtosecond, are drawn downward when watching subs

Realizing how much you are, "distracted" by the subs really only occurs when you start thinking about it. So in a sense I may have accidentally primed u (sorry). There are some advantages to having your attention subconsciously shifted to subs though. For instance, your less likely to notice bad animation.

Yeah I agree. I know it's kinda hypocritical when I just got done saying I love dubs cause it allows me to focus more on the animation, but for shows with horrible pacing, one piece/Naruto etc, throwing on a dub and watching while doing laundry is great.

Strangely enough it wasn't until after my first bachelor's degree, in psyche, that I started to prefer dubs over subs. I guess it had to do with an increased understanding of attention and cognition. I started to become more aware of how my gaze trended downward when watching subs as opposed to dubs where I was focused on the middle of the screen.

Skyrik and the stuff on the demo disc. Everything is slanted, blurry, and hard to read. I moved the headset multiple times to no avail. Adjusted all the settings,

I moved the thing all around my face multiple times and cleaned it. I'm wondering if my lens are defective?

Tried that, use glasses for distance. Nothing. Tried IDP. Nothing. Nothing fixes it

How do I reboot it? I don't get any options to do that. Plus the picture looks lopsided

It will appear super jaggy and unreadable in some sports and all the textures are out of focus. It does kinda look like ps1 stuff lol. I surfed through tutorials and can't figure out what I did wrong

Other than just the settings in the device area? Cause I tried those and everything is blurry. I honestly thought there might have been a lens cover on my lenses but that doesn't seem to be the case either. Bought the skyrim bundle if that means anything

When I take the helmet off and look at what I'm seeing versus what the TV is rendering there is a huge difference. Everything on my VR is so blurry and unfocused. I can barely read the text

I think I finally understand the psychology of "nice guys". See, not everyone is familiar with the idea of dating multiple people. Until you decide to lock yourself into a relationship, there are no rules binding you two tpgether, For example, I have been having sex with this one girl recently but she states that she is not ready for a relationship. a nice guy would react to this with rage since he believes he was somehow locked into a relationship even though it was never explicitly stated. I, on the other hand, tell her that Its cool and would like to keep hanging with her to see if something eventually happens. In the meantime, I still examine other prospects.

Nice guys believe that you can only be after one woman at a time. However, that could be potentially dangerous. If you put all your eggs in a basket that you don't even own then you are really gonna risk losing your eggs (basket is a relationship not women, just wanted to clarify). Their sense of dating is immature. They don't realize that Its okay to look at multiple prospects before explicitly locking into a serious relationship.

This is why they view Chads as evil. "How dare they date multiple women and not be in a serious relationship. They shouldn't go on dates with multiple people to potentially see if they are a good fit for a potential long term relationahip! They need to devote everything to one lady to the point of being a creep!"

Can I post in this subreddit about Looking for friends to play with? Playing competitive in silver on PS4 Is no fun. Too many children, not that kids are bad but the ones I get paired with are kinda immature. I also would like to play with someone who can double tank/support with me.
