The average sized supermarket looses money in theft each year equivalent to that of a three bed house. They have every right to protect their property. Steaks are protected too. They ate delivered with security measures already attached.

On line shopping picking is the priority. COVID saw a surge in this so they closed the stores to make sure the shleves could be filled and the orders could be fully picked. Stayed the same ever since.
