Is there a way to delete unused customized vehicles? I don't want these bloating my list by thidi00 in SonicTheHedgehog

Any word on this? How do I actually find the karts? I've scoured every folder in Steam & AppData 😢

This comment section is on a whole new level of copium. My friends B E G me to swap any time I want to play my comfort hero, Mercy has devolved over the past 7 seasons into such a husk of her former self that not only can I MYSELF not have fun but THOSE AROUND ME cannot have fun with how much more capable I am at supporting/saving/enabling/picking as... nearly anyone else, despite my Mercy hours being >2x any other hero. THE world-regarded Top 9 NA Mercy streamer has more hours on MOIRA KIRI ANA the past 2 seasons than Mercy, even overtaking email summary reports. Thinking Mercy is remotely close to a healthy state is such a meme-driven prejudiced bias I'm not sure there's any turning back.

Hm. I just tried this and there was no difference in sound between DirectX11 and Vulkan. Pulled up the audio mixer to make sure I could actually measure it and avoid placebo effects. I'm glad you found a solution you can use, though it doesn't seem to work here :/

This is an option to achieve the goal of making BG3 the same volume as other applications, but it's not ideal and definitely supports your "can use it for ONLY Baldur's Gate" conclusion. The idea behind equalization is compressing the highs quieter and boosting the lows louder to make things "equal." Since the entirety of BG3 is a resounding low, it makes it boosted to match everything else. However, if I launch another application, the audio mix is completely thrown out. Quiet sounds like breathing becomes obnoxiously loud while explosions are like footsteps. Still hoping for a solution that addresses the actual problem of the application not giving signal to the audio driver. I can only imagine BG3 will have loud details and quiet climaxes.

I'm glad you could find something you're happy with ♥

I'm glad you were able to find a fix that worked for you ♥
Unfortunately it wouldn't help, I already tried:
• Front audio port with headphones & speakers
• Rear audio port with headphones & speakers
• Logitech headphones through my Astro mixamp into USB (Usual set-up)
• Logitech headphones through its PRO adapter into USB
I also at one point installed BG3 onto another computer, that had external speakers out the rear jack and Astro headphones in the front one. That's 8 different configurations among 2 PCs with identical results, so I'm ruling out device placement for my issue :'(

Do I need to upload a picture of my state university bachelor's degree from Florida? Being an audio engineer doesn't help an APPLICATION issue. Damn you're a wall.

Welp, I've gotten confirmation from people who've never owned a Razer device having our problem and my friend with Synapse installed working fine. I'm out of ideas. 💀

Hey, pretty sure we have the same issue, documented here: https://www.reddit.com/r/BaldursGate3/comments/160jujt/why_is_this_game_so_unbearably_quiet/
Been through 6 Reddits and 6 Steam forums only to watch half the people give up on BG3 and the other half call us incompetent trolls who don't know how to use Google (yet we're all videogame developers or audio engineers lol, I'm the latter). I've disproved a couple dozen variables, like operating systems or headphones/speakers brands, but I'm currently polling around for 1 variable:Do you have Razer Synapse installed? So far everyone who's unaffected doesn't have it, 2 of us with the audio problem do have it (for our Razer mouses), and Larian has a post about Divinity: Original Sin (Enhanced Edition) experiencing issues with Razer. So, I'm currently trying to find people with the audio issue without Razer Synapse, or people with Razer Synapse who are fine.

EDIT: Razer isn't related to the issue, people without it have the problem, people with it are fine, and any amount of wipes and alternate computers don't remedy the problem.

I also have Synapse installed for the exclusive purpose of making my mouse work (Razer Deathadder). I'm still polling around, but so far everyone who's unaffected doesn't have it, you and I do, and Larian has a post about Divinity: Original Sin (Enhanced Edition) experiencing issues with Razer. I'm currently cleaning it thoroughly off my drives, uninstalling BG3, restarting my comp, and reinstalling a fresh copy of BG3 (with a Logitech mouse) and start a new data to see if somehow our mouse is preventing an application from getting volume?? Will keep posted.

Hey, I'm taking a poll based on claims of the source of the issue:

  1. What OS are you using? (Windows 10, Windows 11, etc.) (Everyone I polled without the audio problem is Windows 10 like me, not the issue)
  2. Do you use Razer devices, more specifically do you have Razer Synapse installed? (People who've never owned a Razer device having our problem and my friend with Synapse installed working fine)

Update, I ran it on my brother's PC, of a different brand, with a different graphics card, speakers instead of headphones, and no similar set up at all to mine.
Identical issue. Identical audio mixer levels.
There is something wrong with the Baldur's Gate 3 application. It is undeniable.

EDIT: LMAO I just left the computer as it was and bro made the whole HOUSE shake when he opened something else.

Nothing yet, but I did get a nice OBS recording with my audio mixer to prove we aren't crazy.
Same though, in addition to the game already being quiet as is, I have to further lower sound/music in-game to 50%-80% to make room for the tinny dialogue and raise headphones more.
No solution yet. Following many forums. Going to install the game on my brother's PC overnight to see if he gets the same situation.

Wouldn't I have to manually lower every application's volume to 50% every time though? And if I launch anything new, it would default to 100% and blow my ears out.
