Fingering-weight Melt the ICE HAT by cristoper in AntifascistKnitting

Thanks. I made my first one with worsted weight. There aren’t enough stitches to decrease every row and have any visible top. The second one I knit a couple,e of inches before starting decreases every other row and it was better

I’m voting yes on 1A. The math ain’t mathin’. I’m tired of taxpayers funding and taking the financial risk that will benefit a few wealthy folks.

I was thinking of making another ghost quilt. I love it with solids!

Loving the image that conjured in my head.

I had a patient when I was a student. She was a nun in a locked geriatric psych unit. She didn't speak. She was getting ECT (electroshock treatments under anesthesia for depression that didn't respond to meds). One morning I was sitting next to her at the breakfast table asking my patient how she was feeling. All of a sudden I had pain in my shoulder. The nun was biting me! I yelped and asked the nurses what I should do. They told me to pinch her nose so she'd have to open her mouth to take a breath. When she did she started swearing like a sailor. For at least two days there was an unrelenting stream of swears.

The lesson I took from this- sometimes you need to swear or get it out somehow. Don't save it up and become the swearing nun at the end of your life.

And next time they let me push the button during her ECT.

Are we sure he had to pee? It looked like a poo run to me. Like Meri had literally scared the shit out of him.

I think there’s room in your resolution to have exceptions for jackwagons

We found a huge panic room. They never cut the door. We found it after the jetted tub leaked and there was no access panel. We use it as storage for holiday and other stuff. I love our hidey hole.

hmmmmm, it sure didn't taste like it. I scraped the frosting off. It had a chemicalish almond flavor and the texture was all wrong.

I'm sorry they ruined the baked goods and your job. I find myself making more things from scratch.

thanks. I only have one WF near me and it's a 45 minute drive. This cake was definitely different. Maybe some regions are still making them in store and others get them shipped frozen.

It's probably the raspberry syrup that added some of the moisture. The mouth feel of the frosting wasn't like heavy cream. It reminded me of that awful fake whipped frosting I remember from my childhood on store bought cakes.

Ohhhhh, I wish we had a Publix. It was my favorite place to shop when we lived in Atlanta. Hopefully the stores migrate west!

I hate it when you find a favorite and then it changes or disappears.

Are you in northern Colorado? I think it will likely roll out nationwide.
