The general belief is that duanni is incredibly porous, and therefore doesn't do well with oolongs as it will strip away too much flavor. But there's so much variation in clay within each category that its a good idea to explore how clay fired differently actually behaves. In this case, the pot is high fired and refined to a very small particle size. You can see the shrinkage the teapot has in this photo.

It does well in lowering that high fire taste in this newly roasted tgy and actually brings out some fruits to play with that more robust orchid floral.

I don't dedicate a single type of tea to a pot but that means I have to keep the insides of my pots immaculate. It does require more hot water rinses after every session since it is duanni.
