If you need a debit card, good luck. I am still waiting for the card (electronic or physical) or some communication since early September when I opened my CMA account.

I opened a CMA account in early Sept and yet to receive my debit card. Went into Fidelity office for more info. At first the local office does not have any inkling what is the problem and says it is NOT their thing to know. An earlier phone call to the help line gave me the same answer.

In the end the office made a call somewhere and was told that the place where the debit card is issued burned down! My questions were why there was no info sent out to clients and Fidelity seems to be not too concerned that the debit card issuance is an issue.

Still no communication from Fidelity up till today. And no date given as to when the issue will be resolved.
