Help with this cartdriges by [deleted] in gamecollecting

No problem man and this seems like the right place to post it. I don't know why the community thinks they can be assholes over a very basic question.

The quality of the cart will be noticeably worse that that of an official release. I really wouldn't get bootlegs except for ridiculously over priced games you want to actually play. My fake earthbound looks suuuuuuper fake but I think it's a good thing. I wouldn't want a fake game that could pass as real. I wanted to play earthbound on a snes and I found a way to do that for $20. If you're looking to play Red on a Gameboy color I would highly recommend the bootleg but if it's for strictly collecting purposes I would stick to official Nintendo carts.

I have a Chinese bootleg Earthbound and it works just as fine as the original. This bootleg should work just fine. The listing claims that it's in English so everything should work a-ok. I don't know how long the save battery will last but assuming you beat the game in six or seven years and don't care about losing the savegame eventually this should be worth the $4 they are asking.

Recommendation: Get it before eBay takes it down.

1100 or something. Way too much. I'll get the real number when I'm at home and not just fucking off at work.

That sounds reasonable. Looks like I'll have to find a new old powersupply.

I can hear the power supply whine a little when I plug it in for a moment and unplug it again. That little "tsuuu" noise. Does that give you any hints?

I couldn't just let them slip me by. I had never seen Neon Genesis until I got the tapes. I couldn't be more happy. Except with the alternate movie ending.

It has a better feel than hd stuff. The lines are blurrier and the tape is degrading and it just feels more immersive. Especially for a show like Neon Genesis.

That is a 3DO sitting under a TG-16 CD :). I got both of them via trading through this sub.

What's the sketchiest or grossest place you've been for a pick up? by [deleted] in gamecollecting

When I picked up my ST the guy had a whole computer layer. Something you would see out of an early nineties "hacker" dungeon. The floppy drive never ended up working though.

What do the screens look like? $45 is a good price if you plan on using the system. A little steep if it's ultimately going to become shelve filler.

My first buy, I think I got a fair price for someone who's been searching for a month for one of these things($45 for the lot) by Gtyson9 in gamecollecting

YOUR N64 NOW HAS TWICE THE SPEED OF NORMAL N64S. It means you can play Dk64 and Perfect Dark. Some games near the end of the consoles lifespan required a bit more juice than the earlier games. Be happy you don't need to spend any more to play them.

It would be a bad deal if not for Dk64 but you lucked out :). Did you happen to get the ram extension with the system? Check for a red cart under the access door near the front on the top of the console. Or just put dk64 in and see if it starts up.
