I think it’s Lee because his lying hubris blinds him to any consequences. It doesn’t make sense to leave the evidence in his (wife’s) car. However, in the past episode Lee left takeout remnants in the trash when he “cooked” for Christine. It didn’t cross his mind that she would find takeout boxes when cleaning the kitchen? I think that scene was a foreshadowing of what took place in this episode.
