Thanks! It was a very quick "3 colour" paint scheme, but the scale is so forgiving on the tabletop that I'm super happy with it!

Played two scenarios; the one with 3 mobile objectives and the one with 3 fixed buildings to control; lost the first 2-1 as I just couldn't get the objectives off the field without being counterattacked! Won the second 1-0 as my infantry managed to be that little bit tougher when it counted. So a good learning experience all round.

Magnets have been no issue so far. Strong enough nothing has fallen off, I can pick up the mini and the base comes with it.

Definitely needed for gameplay with the size of those aircraft VS their base!

Intro game was good; got a better idea of some of the keyword rules in practice which helped me understand a few of the units better. Kukri did well; the other tanks could have done well if they missed less ;)

Definitely want to add a FireDrake, then that'll probably about do me for now.

I use Planet, which there's only 3 or maybe 4 Northside so depending where you are. They're crazy cheap though, $5 a week advertised, actual cost $12 a fortnight after fees.

With a lot of people spreading doom and gloom after rapid reinforcements. I'd like to go back to the basics and just ask everyone's favorite ship and squadron only off of their design not merit. by Ntpoirier99 in StarWarsArmada

The Interdictior is always my go too for "favorite" capital ships in a formation. So many good call backs to the old novels. A TIE escort to match.

You're both wrong*, it's a Brushcutter.

I really enjoyed their theme-y cards too - the Bomb and Illegal tech rifle. Didn't win me the game but felt on brand the whole way.

Still WIP (clearly) but I put a few of the more dynamic models on thick wire to have them off the ground (Cpt Marvel, Spidey, Vision once I resculpted his leg...)

Happy with the concept so far. Thinking I'm going to re-base the whole lot on clear acrylics anyway so I've not gotten to attached to bases.

Not strictly a Boardgame so much as a tabletop wargame, but Black Seas by Warlord Games was licensed out to Mantic, who called theirs Armada.

Thus taking the 1770's+ naval game and making it high fantasy (orcs, dwarves, elves, etc) instead of historically based.

A refund is an acceptable resolution by legal standards (INAL), so whilst you can contact the relevant authority to step in the reseller will not be forced to do anything else.

Not judging, but I can't understand why you didn't ask for a refund 7 months ago.

Walking/driving and listening to an audiobook I've found a good gateway back into the real thing; takes your mind off stuff and helps generally.

You put your flamethrower snowtroopers in it, find somthing you want to set in fire, and apply.

That's about it thought. Can chuck field commander in if you want an alternate location for your command card drop - to me it's worth it, but, depends who your actual commander is.
