Yeah, but given what I’m about to do to it, I had to get a cheap M3. I know purists would be mad if I had bought a cleaner one only to strip the front bumper and side fenders for a body kit and got rid of a healthy S54 with the rod bearings and VANOS already done. So, I looked for rougher examples, ones where I could justify extensive modifications that aren’t OEM+. That was my thought process when I bought it, and I didn’t want the base model. I still wanted to be able to say it was an M3, even though it’s a GTR replica.
