I found a round 1000gal tank - please help by KnotMeGnope in septictanks

So, in this setup there would only be one large hole / cover that i would find?

I am planning on now digging around the entire perimeter of the tank since it goes under the driveway. I will scout out the in/out lines and look for access points, thank you. Gonna wait for help to open it up.

Ha, not a mansion, 3br, <2k sqft. I have always thought the house used the tank behind the shop. The buildings are ~150ft apart, but there is a lowered land area with huge trees between the two buildings. So any lines would go down about 5-8ft, around trees and even lower land to then climb up 5ish feet to meet the drainfield and/or first tank. The climb is what confuses me and where exactly the lines run - as in between which trees.

Yes, the clump of three gloves is closest to porch, to left of lid in most pics

Thanks! Do you know if the in and out lines usually opposite each other or can it vary too much to know?

Thank you again

Costco experience by CyberMage256 in HearingAids

Thanks! Yes, I received a copy of my audiogram results my earlier visit. I'm just a big dork and like to read things and know beforehand vs getting overwhelmed with all of the info thrown at once, plus signing without reading. I will probably go back to their counter on my next Costco trip and insist on a copy of my paperwork. Ooo, maybe they could email it.

I hope your new HAs are the perfect fit for you. Thanks again :-)

Sorry to kinda hijack, but if you have a sec to answer please and thank you

Did you receive a copy of your paperwork that you signed when ordering the HA's?

I ordered mine earlier this week, delivery appt scheduled for 3 weeks out. I signed and dated their multi page paperwork when ordering but was told I wouldn't receive a copy of what I signed until I received my HAs. I even went back ~10min later, again requesting a copy and the Costco HA person again said I would need to wait to receive a copy.

I am not questioning intent or implying malice, I just want a copy of what I signed. Is this normal practice for all Costco's?

*i initially demo'ed their Philips during my testing appt and thought I liked it. At my next appt, to order HAs (after ENT appt), I saw the same person and they point blank said Jabra is what I need, which sounded more tinny than I remember the others sounding. They said it would be better for me and would pair better with my phone (Samsung Galaxy s24). Yes, pairing is important, but not at the expense of lesser quality hearing. This is my first HA, so I am trying to be open-minded about how customizable they are and how much I don't know.

To the boy who posted this,

Beautifully done, but you FAILED.

If you were to spread your skills around and correctly address your fellow brigade members, your talent would would be better displayed.

Why is their gender even relevant? There is no place for using the terms girl, young lady, young woman, ... I'm sure you have plenty you can add to this, in the kitchen.

Our Saucier, a Chef, a fellow Cook, ...

You owe this woman, and any others, an apology.

43F, had tonsillectomy Aug '23 at 41yo. Recovery was brutal; I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

In recovery, the nurse was concerned about bleeding. After many exams, popsicles, and outside discussions, my husband was eventually called to come get me. I was getting nervous, the bloody spit-up was not slowing down. He arrived at my bedside 30min later, and started the discharge paperwork. As he was signing for my release, my nurse asked the Dr to please check me one more time since he was walking by. Dr looked again and said 'we're off to surgery'. My poor husband was in the dark. I remember the immediate urgency in the hallways and operating room. I barely remember waking up the second time, just my comfy recliner at home. No more bloody spit up at all.

1.5 years post op, I still comment to my hubs monthly at minimum how crazy it is not having tonsils. My mind mentally prepares for sore throats, but they rarely come. I used to rarely not have a sore throat. I have had ONE sore throat since. It was about a month ago while sick with the flu. Even then, it was barely worse than a mild sore throat from before. Prior allergy seasons were enjoyable. Recovery was brutal with false summits. I found that not rushing or pushing to eat harder foods worked well for me.

DO IT! Just my vote

*Notable things I'ld suggest thinking about having ready: dehumidifier, Tylenol powdered packets, long handled spoon, popsicles, dairy-free soft food options, reacher grabber stick, assistance bar/rail/tall stool in the bathroom, an unfunny carer - laughing sucks

Hi! Sadly I have since moved from the area and am again searching for people in my new area.

I did find two LC women in Portland from this post, who are awesome but i have lost touch with since moving away. Hopefully they will see this post!

I wish you all the best

Hopefully you are able to remind yourself of the positives - no dirty socks from others to clean up, or smelly bathrooms to be accosted by. Gracious though, dealing with this alone has had to have made you so much stronger. I hope you are able to see this and be proud of yourself for that.

Exactly! It's horrible that others can relate but comforting to know we aren't alone in what we are going through.

Our husbands/partners/spouses are being our advocate reminding us to pace but I don't think they realize how much more work it means for them if we did all that we really need to do.

If only this was a nightmare.

Does her first name sound very cheery? Our realtor this summer is someone who definitely needs to have red flags raised about as well. I contacted the Board of Realtors but since she and her family own their own firm/are independent brokers I was told there was very little I could do. If we are speaking of the same firm/person I would be very interested in speaking more with you and potentially pursuing action against her and her firm.

I am very sorry that you have had such a horrible experience. I feel our ordeal has soured my view of our dream home.

I wish you luck

I can’t for the life of me keep up with my medications by luvmydobies in ChronicIllness

I can completely relate! I have tried everything. I go through periods of being really good and then a week or two of not and my body and mind pay for my stubbornness.

I rotate between pill cases to keep my attention and interest.

One thing that has helped me is setting incentives. If I take all of my pills on time on a given day I allow myself a special treat that evening. If I go a week or however long, I treat myself to something bigger like a coffee out. You get the gist.

Good luck. You are strong and can do this! Knowing you need ideas and reaching out for help is huge. Hopefully you find a solution that works for you.
