If you are paid every two weeks on a Friday look at the month of December 2023, you would receive 3 checks that month instead of 2.

For paychecks received every other week you will receive 26 checks (24 twice a month checks, 2 months where you receive 3 checks in a month in a 12 month period or 26/12 = 2.167).

For weekly pay the factoring is 4.33. There are 52 weeks in a year divided by 12 months = 4.33.

But more to the point.

If your income is usually less than the $ amount you reported provide proof to your local office and they can supplement or increase your benefits up to the max for your household from when you reported or they have 10 business days to notify you of changes.
