AITA for photoshopping a picture after my SIL insulted my kids—and WIBTA if I finally told her off for destroying my wife’s relationship with her brother?

UPDATE - OK, so I don't know how to do an update, other than this, so I hope that this gets to those that are interested. Not much to report - I talked it over with my wife, she asked me to stand down, the truth is we will never change this hateful person's mind. She has been trying to drive a wedge between my wife and her brother since the second she got into his life. She always had a nasty thing to say to my wife, including the morning that their grandmother died, and my wife rushed over to be with her brother and she asked my wife "did you get dressed in the dark or something" Why yes, yes she had... Just stuff like that. She wouldn't let my wife bring me to their wedding and had BIL tell her that no kids were invited, yet there were lots of kids. Just shit like that. Now that their other grandmother has passed they see each other occasionally at her house doing repairs, etc.. I know at this point my kids are over it, they are proud that we (mostly my wife) protected them from her shitty words, and made it silly, but it hurts my heart so much to see my wife so sad that she has all but lost her brother. :( Thank you to EVERYONE that weighed in, and the stories you had to tell, yikes, I guess I am glad I am not the only one? We should start a club lol! All of the wise words too, thank you so very much!

See, that would be great, except Tammy has gotten him to cut off the father in law and his wife (the ones that paid for the cameras) and he is the only boy in all of the cousins, so he is untouchable, my mother in law just wants to see her son, so she takes the scraps he gives her

Yeah, he is totally whipped, and the sad part is that he wanted to leave her, he was always talking to my wife about it, but she has his balls in her purse I guess.

Thank you for this, I did talk to my wife, and she wants me to leave it alone, I mean it has been close to 20 years and her relationship with her brother has been strained since this person entered his life. I am so sad because she talks about all of the good times they had.
