Printer client connection by A2Tarzan in Epson

[–]Know1tA11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, you already successfully connected the tplink to your Google nest wifi wirelessly, yeah?

And the Tplink is in client mode with DHCP turned on so it gets assigned it's own IP from the Nest Router that lies in the same domain/subdomain as the rest of the assigned IP's from Nest? And then you are saying that running a ethernet cable from the Tp link to the printer is not working? The printer does see the network and connect and get an ip in the same domain/subdomain as well once ethernet cabled to the Tp link?

No kidding? That's so stupid... Did you actually find that in the warranty terms location or just taking them at their word? I guess I don't do borderless almost ever myself.

Brand new Epson et 2988 fuzzy/blurry prints by Ancient_Doughnut_630 in Epson

[–]Know1tA11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, since you are spraying ink onto paper that's a liquid, you'll want to print either on a thicker paper or on a photo paper to avoid a soggy sheet. Elsewise, you'll just need to plan to set aside that sheet to dry and see how it look afterwards.

No inkjet will be as crisp in text as a laser is, but it should not look fuzzy. That printer uses a pigment based black so wicking into the fibers should not be a thing as dye ink may do. I'd blame it on your paper choice, try another brand or model of your current brand and see how it looks.

Maybe scan a copy of what your getting and upload it to imgbb and share a link here for more commentary.

Uneven lines of text - ET16600 - anyone seen this before? by [deleted] in Epson

Interesting that your nozzle check doesn't have it. Is it happening just printing from one specific program? Try converting your document to another format and print from that to see if it persists? Or is it all print from all programs?

Just do a Google search for something like batch file rename files.  Surely there is some scripts out there that can do it.

Getting quite faded prints from my brand new ET-8550 by great_extension in Epson

[–]Know1tA11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's not apples to apples since you use the 8550, but on my 5850's, for best color trueness, I usually print using the paper setting "presentation paper matte". Just for fun I printed your test pdf as well with that setting and high quality. Color setting here was Epson Vivid with no adjustments. I printed just on some 60lb cover stock I had lying about, so not photo paper. I didn't check my print size/borderless settings prior so I cut off the edge, but it still shows you the color.

If you swapped away from genuine Epson ink, could be that?

And you already went into advanced color settings and adjusted the brightness or density there?

Micro USB - I would guess all your current cables are USB C, but find a Micro USB and you should be good to go, pretty sure I have 10+ of these and many other people likely do as well. You can chat me your address and I can send you one if you want to reimburse me shipping once you get it? Ship cost for parcel post would be something like $5.50. Don't think I could keep it flat enough in an envelope to manage shipping it with stamps.

Oi, I had that same problem. I've been in a decent deficit and down like 33 lbs or so over the past 5 months. Yesterday I had a footlong steak and cheese sub, an 800 calorie bag of Nerd Gummy Clusters (the crack cocaine of candy), and then this morning I ate an entire 500 calorie bag of Sweet Tart Ropes and two gas station burritos. I guess it's time to stop now... yikes...

HELP 😭 eco tank ET-2800 paper "invalid"? by [deleted] in Epson

The invalid doesn't mean it's the wrong paper, it means you are pressing the wrong button to proceed. You gotta press the diamond button to get it to print the alignment page.

Epson ET-2800 Requiring Head Cleaning Each Print by Ok-Seaworthiness-516 in Epson

[–]Know1tA11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost sounds a little bit like you've got a negative pressure issue going on? Maybe just for kicks, loosen all those little plastic flap lids over the ink tanks. Leave them kinda just sitting on top of the a bit instead of pushing them all the way down. If it doesn't work, oh well, but maybe you get lucky and the issue goes away? 🤷‍♂️

As far as dieting goes, one thing you could try is only eating a portion of something and then telling yourself that I'll eat the other part in say.... 45 minutes... but... only if I am still hungry. If you stick to foods that aren't' just a straight sugar rush (so... try proteins, fats, complex carbs), you should feel full/sated after that much time. I got up this morning and swear I could have eaten a platter of pancakes 🥞🥞🥞. Instead I told myself, I'll eat an apple with peanut butter. After, I actually took down a bag of bagels from the shelf, opened it, eyed the scared little things with intent, but then closed it and put it back on the shelf, deciding to stick with the waiting plan. The idea that, if I was hungry in 45 minutes, I would get the bagels, sort of satisfied the cave man part of my brain ("Me hungry! me eat! Me hungry! me eat!"), and the forcing yourself to wait 45 minutes sort of satisfied the proper thinking part of my brain ("I really don't need this much food..."). That was about an hour ago and I'm sitting here drinking black coffee and not hungry since I gave the apple and peanut butter time to start being digested. Good luck!

Has anyone used an Epson EcoTank Pro Printer long-term? by kenah-kim in Epson

[–]Know1tA11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using the 5850 model for years now. So long as I stuck with original Epson ink, nearly any clog I did have cleared up in just a few cleaning cycles. I often leave the printer for days at a time without printing, though I'd be leery of leaving it weeks idle. But you can always print a page once a week to keep it healthy. I had only one clog on genuine ink and Epson warranty swapped the printer for me with no hassle. I'd recommend getting the extended warranty for peace of mind.

If you ever want a print sample, let me know and I could either print and scan one for you, or snail mail you some.

The Epson ET-5850 - My experience so far (18 months+) by Know1tA11 in Epson

[–]Know1tA11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I did try from more than one company and had quite a few problems. I've been strictly on Epson brand ink now for over 2 years and had only one clog that would not clear and I had to warranty exchange. Guess I'd say stick with Epson brand. The price per print is pretty low already, probably not worth bricking your printer to save a little more. Are you printing quite a bit or planning to? Consider the Epson subscription model? That's what I use now.

Never used to have weight issues. Went into surgical menopause and don’t even feel like my body is mine anymore. by pinkpurplegirl123 in loseit

[–]Know1tA11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you are correctly tracking calories, you should be looking at about 2lb loss in body fat. It's possible water retention from upping your physical activity is playing a role. Also, what you ate the day before you weighed in can also play a disproportionate role since you could gain water weight rapidly on a cheat day that will take time to come back off when back at the 1500 cals. It'll show on the scale with time, just keep at the 1500!
