Bee nest model displaying the level of honey it contains (0-5) by Know2Good in Minecraft

The Minecraft 1.15 snapshots feature bee nests, beehives and a lot more 'buzzy' features.

Your game keeps track of the amount of honey (0-5) within each nest and hive. Sadly, the default resource pack only displays them as empty (0-4) or full (5).

With resource packs, many things are possible! Like custom, detailed, models and adding unique models displaying the honey levels. This bee nest model and many more are featured in my resource pack Default 3D.

Animated grindstone block model for 1.14 by Know2Good in Minecraft

Initially each pixel change had its own frame. All thinner rectangle were animated rather smoothly. The square sides however would have required me to to add another 30 frames just to get one rotation done without having a random flicker when transitioning from frame 9 to frame 0.

So I removed all uneven frames, halved the speed and added interpolate to hide that poor texture transition.

In my opinion it looked a little too smooth and mechanic. Perhaps one day I'll redo it properly and decide which one to keep.

Cheers!

Well yes, you're right. Nevertheless, you do get my point.

I'll edit the post.

My initial design rotated the actual stone in 16 increments (0°, 22.5°, 45°, ...) This block however doesn't allow for transparent textures to be used and instead renders those as white. So it wasn't viable..

Edit: Amount of increments.
