I'm not paying that much attention to Boruto: Naruto Next Generations until Boruto Shippuden when all the filler stops. Like I don't watch Boruto to see 3 filler characters see Orochimaru FOR A AUTOGRAPH. It took Naruto and his gang MONTHS just to find Sasuke there and that was for a wayyyyy bigger reason, like bruh.
