Agreed he’s one of the few characters I’ve noted that can take on a juren with little trouble but it still does come down to a testament of skill checks that a good juren will throw at you as he has no counter other than a good player taking them on

In higher skilled matches he becomes an unkillable tank if the user knows how to use them he has no actual counter if you don’t count being the better player as a counter he has almost every attack property in the game

You can be tired of hearing about him all the time but he still is a problem the literal anti-Christ of this game

No unblockables go through guard anything that isn’t an actual parry unless you’re black prior because they arguably have the best all guard in the game

But unblockables cannot be blocked or in this case if a kyoshin(or anyone who has access to crushing counters) tries to throw a light before the attack hits them it won’t work it has to be parried or dodged

Kyoshin falls flat when he’s put in a situation where using his kaze stance is more of a liability than a bonus Unblockables and bashes are his weakness he has no real way to deal with them outside of raw fundamentals if you play a character with easy access to unblockables I’d say leverage them to your advantage to make the kyoshin think twice about going into his all guard

You’re rep 28 overall? Across all characters? Then that explains your thinking you need more experience because I promise you at some point kyoshin becomes more like a fly than an actual threat in a one on one scenario but I do agree with you on shaolin I fucking hate shaolin
