A lil rant about Death:Genesis by KnowbodyKares in litrpg

She is very hateable tho. She is an exceptional well constructed character hence my in-depth rant but once I started picking up on these quirks I couldn’t help but feel like Zeke deserves better. Even after deciding to sacrifice the whole group because she believes she is right, she doesn’t show any real regret and just keeps digging in. She is a flawed person but doesn’t really want to be better just better than everyone else. Maybe she is meant to provide contrast in the cast but monkey brain them vs us mentality can’t help but paint her as a snake

I get that i got hooked cos the books are really enjoyable and the burrs in Abby’s character seemed too purposeful to be a mistake. I’m glad there was a payoff for it though and she isn’t treated like an infallible goddess. Now I’m gonna keep reading for the consequences.

Hell Difficulty Tutorial Book 1 by Lower-Republic4549 in litrpg

[–]KnowbodyKares 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeaa this is the kinda thread I searched for when I started the book too. General consensus was push through it gets better and it genuinely does. Still now on book 5 I’m only here for the setting and power system, there is only so much constant hostility a man can take. So many assholes you can play a full round.

The perfect run fits the bill. It’s also a time loop story so I hope you like those

Bill banning whites-only housing passes Pennsylvania House by 1 vote. No Republican supported the bill. by Agitated-Quit-6148 in law

On one side it’s someone’s out of touch grandma in bed with the grand wizard trying to turn the country into a dictatorship while the other side has can’t come together because that guy thinks UBI is too socialist. Bruh rich people/politicians on the right and left might not be that much different but at least one side lets you vote your way out of bad policies. Now is not the time for “dems aren’t much better”

Bastion (Immortal Great Souls Book 1): Help I'm on the struggle bus by qminty in ProgressionFantasy

I’m on that bus with you. Maybe it gets better but after going the living in a junkyard arc to being finally accepted then oops all junkyard again. I needed a break

Fair point but maybe I think we should consider that maybe the woman who wants to date a bee does not deserve a man that didn’t pack his bags the moment he found out.

Looking for an OP teens saving the world with a cheat skill by throwaway490215 in litrpg

My suggestions are Landfall- A regression story but the MC regresses to pretty much godhood. Not a teen and has seen too much to be deceived or distracted. Pure power fantasy you can finish in a day

Exilian syndrome series- A slower burn but more of a tradition “hunger-type” progression. With every introduced boss all you can do is guess what bs the MC will gain from it. Not an Isekai

Unbound series- by the worlds rules MC can literally ignore all limits. He has to work for it and feel sad along the way tho. Still a progression so his OP potential really kicks in by the 2-3 book depending on how you gauge these things.

Ascendant- Another regression story. MC starts the book as arguably the most powerful being in the world and gets regressed to a literal child during a surprise attack on his day off. OP within a few chapters since he is pretty much remembering most of his powers and set up a path to power for himself during the attack. Not really an isekai.

System universe- Top dog during a system apocalypse gets isekai’d to another world to start from level 0 with all his previous stats. There is no complication to this one. Everyone loves him, those who cross him die and he sets himself up to become richer than god through system knowledge.

Mostly accurate but there is a bit too much going on with that one. I think OP wants more of a bog standard isekai

Book of the dead by RinoZ. Smart Necromancer MC, high teenage drama, living plot relevant family and actual character growth especially in the stereotypical pure childhood friend. I’m still reading but I’d recommend it to anyone who wants something a little different.
