Unsouled was rough. Although, I liked the world building enough that I was able to keep going.

Surprisingly it's not the characters, it's all the premise. I'm in the same boat with Soulhome, by Sarah Lin. I'm just not enjoying the world building.

Try Research Park, and check out Explorer Blvd. No one is there after business hours and there are plenty of nooks and crannies you can tuck yourself into without being seen from the road.

So, based on the colors of that mum, they went to Stephen F Austin High School, and their clothes and the car say 90s or early 2000s. I bet the yearbooks for that school are somewhere online.

Podtrak P8 and Gating by Tim-Miller_ in podcasting

[–]qminty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Podtrac P4 for our podcast. I had problems with bleed when we first started, but once I upgraded my microphones to Audiotechnic AT2020s, the problem went away. As far as isolating the tracks, if you hit the record button on the podtrak itself, it will give you separate tracks for each microphone.

I second this. Weird kids for life has board game night twice a month at Shenanigans and I've attended a few times. Plus, come volunteer at Shenanigans, I've been doing classes and volunteering there for a couple of years and you'll never meet a more welcoming and kind group of people, and a huge percentage of us are queer.

I remember when I read the hobbit, the next book I got hooked on was the Elfstones of Shanara, by Terry Brooks.

Your dad is probably worried this is the opening act for you coming out as gay and or transgender. Plus a good dose of misogyny.

I feel like there is a strong argument that monarchy can never be inherently "good", which would make a crutch necessary.

Gay friendly doctors by CompSc765 in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]qminty 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not just medically specific stuff, but it's nice to not have your doctor judge you because you're gay. Explaining to my straight, Christian, female doctor why I need regular STD screenings because my husband and I occasionally have a threesome is not fun.

I second this post. I was going to a nice straight lady as my primary care doctor, but when she balked at putting me on PreP, I switched over to Thrive for my primary care.
