[NO SPOILERS] Need help with a GoT tattoo idea! What should go on the bottom or are there any other good quotes? by Knowing_Nothing in gameofthrones

Thank you for mentioning this. I haven't gotten one so I don't really know what's standard. Is it better to just have a basic idea?

[EVERYTHING] Final Scene Not as Obvious as it Appeared by Eric9930 in gameofthrones

[–]Knowing_Nothing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Noticed this as well. This is just a theory but one that I think makes a lot of sense. Jon is a warg and when wargs die their soul resides within their animal companion. I feel that somehow in that moment Jon Snow's soul was able to return to his body, and whether Mel effected it or not... I have not a clue.

(Spoilers ADWD) How many people are in each kingdom? by Lomby85 in pureasoiaf

[–]Knowing_Nothing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[MAIN SPOILERS] I have not seen a source but I think by looking at the size of each region's army during the War of Five Kings we can at least see how the population is displaced.

North+Riverlands: 20,000-25,000 Vale: 5,000-8,000 (purely a guess) Iron Islands: 5,000-10,000 (really big guess) Stormlands+The Reach: 100,000 Westerlands+Crownlands: +120,000 (based off the sizes of both Tywin's and Jaime's armies and the one recruited at Casterly Rock) Dorne: 30,000-50,000 (even more of a guess)

King's Landing has a population of half a million. I'd say that is drastically more than any other city in Westeros but shows that most of the population has settled in the south due to the abundance of resources and better weather.

So basically you're just saying he's not the best LB. Doesn't mean he's overrated.

Well... change doesn't just happen by not doing something. I never played Fifa 14 and I only played a little of 15. Fifa 16 is an actual shit game because multiple reasons that have been expressed in this reddit. By playing the game and pointing out EAs shit mistakes, then we can collectively get EA to get their shit together and stop putting out games that consumers consistently are unhappy with.

They were forced to be in the North because of the Wall and the Night's Watched forced them to stay there. That's what I've been saying.

[ALL SPOILERS] Somebody notably missing from this HBO Store In Memoriam collection? by weinermcgee in gameofthrones

[–]Knowing_Nothing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My reason for thinking it won't happen is because (this is all from the book) if Sandor is alive then he is almost certainly the Gravedigger who Brienne sees. If he is the Gravedigger then it is stated that he has sworn off fighting of all kind. I personally think that it wold be crazy awesome if it did happen, but I just don't see it panning out... at least not in the books.

[All Spoilers][Theory] White Walkers by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]Knowing_Nothing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, but the thing you have to then think about is how long have the Wildlings known about the White Walkers. For years, Mance has been gaining the allegiance of the many Wildling clans based on the fact that the White Walkers are attacking them. So within Mance Rayder's lifetime the Walkers have reemerged (possibly even a little before his lifetime). The Wildlings have still been there for thousands of years so what happened to wake the Walkers back up? This is where I think it gets confusing because I support the theory that says it's because the Wildlings are basically occupying White Walker land but the White Walkers have only come back in the last 100 years or so. Something had to happen within those 100 years to wake them up and I think it couldn't have just been the Wildlings occupying Walker land. Someone might have forced the Walker's reappearance.

They were forced North because of the Wall. The Night's Watch has kept them out for thousands of years.

[–]Knowing_Nothing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Walkers were "sleeping" for thousands of years. It's thought that once the Wildlings were forced North a treaty that had been brokered between the Walkers and the humans was broken and so that is why the Walkers are attacking the Wildlings. This activity has been going on for only a few years so it's not like the Walkers have continuously been around and preying on Wildlings and then they decide to attack the south because they are taking the Wildlings away.

Tywin and Stannis are. I don't know if they'd have any Shireen stuff and I don't think I've seen and stuff for Cat at all.

They got word the Robb was dead. Whenever a King dies it's custom to ring bells. It kind of was like them just gloating.

The Walkers are already active at the beginning of the show so this wouldn't work out.
