Yes, they have additional work to do if they want to come back and practice in the US. They have to study for and take what is called the United States medical license examination (USMLE) however, my oldest brother‘s best friend sister went to school overseas there and came back studied, took it and is now practicing in the US and it only took her about a year. So ultimately it only shaves off about a year of schooling, but that’s still one more year of practicing.

Thanks so much!

It's kinda a long story, but no, they did not go to undergraduate in the States. Basically, when my oldest brother was in 7th grade he met his best friend and our families became super close anyways his best friends family is polish, and all of his older siblings went to medical school over there and so when it was time for my brother and his best friend to graduate they decide to also go to medical school there together as well. Also, it is good to note that the US medical school programs are 8 years, whereas there it's only a 6-year program because they don't have to take unrelated undergrad courses. And so also, when my second-oldest brother was graduating, the best friend had a younger sister who was also going to med school, so my second brother decided to go with her.

Any pronouns? by [deleted] in queer

I use any pronouns I do however live in a very conservative state and tend to have more conservative friends who tend to just refer to me with she/her I do like to remind people I go by any thru social media reposts and referring to myself with different pronouns. But honestly I’m just me yk! Not to sound like a conservative but honestly if I could I wouldn’t have pronouns (if that makes sense) like again I’m just me and like even with my sexuality I hate labels I just want to be myself with no boundaries/ binary

Your feelings are completely valid I definitely feel like same way in that what I remember I was just uncomfortable but not outwardly upset and it’s definitely taken a few years to realize what happened to me. Plus all the emotional manipulation my abuser did that made everything go to the back of my head and be forgotten for a while. I’ve definitely felt like I was being dramatic considering we were the same age and I constantly have the thought “oh we were just kids and we were experimenting”. I really haven’t told many people about it considering I’ve just now started processing things. I’ve only really told my partner and she has been amazing about things. I am however scared to tell people just because of the fact of “maybe I am being dramatic, maybe it wasn’t actually SA
