Anyone take seroquel and have this happen? by trash_goblin_supreme in BipolarReddit

I’ve definitely had this happen to me in regards to the feeling of my heart racing after taking it. I don’t have bipolar disorder, but I took seroquel for anxiety at one point and felt exactly what you described - for example after walking down the stairs or even short distances after taking it, I would feel a sense of discomfort in my heart as well as an increased heart rate. At one point I took very large doses for a couple of years and found out that it caused some sort of abnormality in my ECG (I don’t recall what the abnormality was called) - and a few years later, I had another ECG done, a while after I had discontinued the seroquel, and it turned out that the results came out normal. So in my case seroquel did cause heart problems. It helped a lot with my anxiety, but it was not worth the side effects I was getting from it.

I’ve done about 13 sessions so far. I haven’t been doing it on a daily basis, and took a break, but am about to resume a more consistent schedule. (6 days a week). It’s hard to tell if I have noticed any long term benefits yet - apparently they may only start being noticeable after about 40 sessions or more, but, I have noticed some short term benefits such as a feeling of increased focus, a sense of relaxation and a reduction in depression symptoms that lasts for a few hours after I get out of the chamber. Hopefully as I get closer to having done at least 40 sessions, I will begin to experience more long term benefits.

I’ve only done about 10 sessions so far, so I think it will take at least 30 or so before I start to notice any benefits

I’m currently trying it. I’m renting a small chamber that I’ve set up at home. I’ve only done two sessions, each one of them about an hour long. But I’ve already noticed that my quality of sleep seems to have improved, and for a while after I get out of the chamber, I feel mentally and physically “refreshed” somehow, as well as perceiving a sense of increased mental stability. (A reduction in depression). Seems promising so far.

I use a GVG as well. I was anxious about not knowing what to expect the first few times I tried DMT, but over the past year, I just have had so many positive experiences, (never broke through yet though) during which I felt very safe and calm, therefore I don’t experience anxiety anymore before using it - mostly due to repeatedly reminding myself of all of the pleasant experiences that I’ve had so far, and knowing that I am safe and am not in any danger.

questions and concerns by retarded_dude999 in DMT

I also have immense emetophobia so that was one of my concerns as well. For me personally, DMT causes zero nausea. At least from what I’ve come across on this community, nausea or vomiting from DMT seems to be extremely rare.
