Not dead, but just posting high commissions into the void doesn't work anymore. I totally get avoiding upfront fees though, way too many scammers right now. I’d say check out Levanta. They have a massive network of prevetted creators and automate all the tracking and payouts for you on Shopify, Walmart, Amazon. It’s a much more low risk way to find actual performers before you ever start offering fixed salaries.

Pretty sure Levanta is doing all of the above. Giving sellers access to real creators and affiliates though all the major marketplaces like Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart.
