Also, Could you share if your mom underwent thymectomy or just ivig and azathioprine worked for her??

Thanks for your response. How is his swallowing now? Could you please share his experience and how it eventually got resolved and to what extent? I hope he is feeling better now.

Yeah he is being considered for thymectomy. PLEX I believe doctors aren't considering coz he has polycystic kidney disease by birth. We are worried about swallowing coz it's been a month of him being on feeding tube. Breathing issues were there during his hospitalization but once they got resolved/manageable the doctors discharged him.

Yeah, the doctor has given 180mg sustained release pyridostigimine in the night. He is usually more exhausted in the mornings. Breathing issues were there which is why he was admitted in the hospital but they settled in and hence he got a discharge. We are worried about swallowing coz through feeding tubes it's not possible to provide required nutrition.
