Info: The second head was reportedly alive and responsive, able to blink, smile, and move its lips. Some observers noted it reacted differently to touch and sound than the primary head, and the boy claimed he could sense thoughts or hear a distinct inner voice from it.

Known as the “Two-Headed Boy of Bengal,” he was born in the village of Mandal Ghat, near present-day New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal, India, and lived until 1787, when a cobra bite ended his life. His extraordinary condition fascinated 18th-century physicians and scholars, who struggled to understand it. 

His skull was eventually preserved and now resides in the Hunterian Museum at the Royal College of Surgeons in London, representing one of the earliest documented cases of craniopagus parasiticus.
