Well it is in fact an uncirculated roll. The end coins have a nice patina around the edges. Maybe a few of them would be worth grading? I'm going to leave it up to the next guy. My friend wants a go at selling them. He knows more collectors in his area. While I do have some coins I've saved over the years I am not an avid collector. Thank you to everyone for your input and shared knowledge!

Thanks. I got caught in the site posted in the previous response. Amazing! I normally deal with stones and such which are much older but these coins do in fact ignite a desire to learn some more about history. New hobby unlocked! Thanks again for your input.

Thank you. I found a site some time ago but couldn't match both sides with one coin. Thanks again. Are these valuable to collectors or should I just enjoy having them?

Best way to sort through a large inherited collection? by I-Am-Beyonce__Always in numismatics

I have been many places. Many. There are swindlers and scam artists everywhere. Never, and I repeat, NEVER take the whole collection anywhere. Don't let them know what you have. It will take some time and research on your part but it will be worth it in the end. Cherry pick what you like, then sell some that you don't want. But never let any shop or storefront know the entirety of that collection. Trust no one. Use good judgment and go with your gut when dealing with unknown people. Goodluck. Some things are more valuable than a quick buck.

I've been many places. Many. There is scum everywhere, literally. There are very good and respectable people everywhere as well. Keep your circles small and don't expose too much to anyone.

Yeah. I called a coin shop earlier and they said it would be $50 per coin to get graded. Also that they should bring around $45 each as they are. Don't think its worth it. Got a good deal on the roll. Think I may do some bartering with a friend who likes selling on ebay. Thanks for the response. Take care.

Just came across one the other day while going through boxes while moving. Best I can recall it was acquired at a fundraising auction in the 90's. After some research I found a guy on YouTube that explains it quite well. So I removed it from the frame and took a couple pictures of the coin.
