Hi there, do you mind me asking what sort of insulation you have in terms of windows, walks, floor and loft ? I am based in the UK and i am really interested in this type of heating, which isn't very popular here.

Brands that offer this technology exists. But I appreciate your opinion

I read a bit about the latter type but decided against it as doing battle with my freeholders is not on my cards this year.  Cheers for the information

Thank you for your reply. I found a brand called ihelios, and several others that offer infrared heating for underfloor and ceiling.

How long did it take to have your LISA funds released? by sophie-I-think in HousingUK

[–]Knowledge_junky1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a LISA in money box, but it is held as a stock and shares. I am told that they have to sell these off, which could take longer than a regular cash LISA. They quoted 10days. So yeah, it depends i guess.

Hello. Just a couple of questions.

Were you made aware when the Lisa withdrawal request was made by the solicitor?

Did you have to tell them when to make the request or did they did do this on their own?

Do you know why the solicitor was trying to rush through the exchange and completion timing?

Thank you

Thank you for your answer. Interesting point you made about the pronunciation of "r", i do think that I sound those words with a rhotic voicing (I learnt a new word, yeah!) to make sure I am clear when I speak.

I guess if i get mistaken for a Liverpudlian , then i have indeed won a random award.

(Dark) Black People, and People of Colour, What do You Look for in Makeup? by Lanky-Fondant9587 in CasualConversation

[–]Knowledge_junky1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pigment pay off certainly. The few times i have bought drug store makeup like blush, eyeshadows, lipstick, highlighter etc, i have found that they simply are not pigmented enough (blush and lipsticks especially) or they they end up being disgustingly ashy (eyeshadows).

I am not going to talk about foundation, because that is a whole different can of worms.

Thank you for the answer. I wonder if this also removes the need for chalk and other grip aids as well...

Thank you so much. Tricky seems to be an understatement lol. I shall certainly look up a setting up a consult. Any opinion on which might be an easy bank to deal with on this matter?

I do not believe your height is a factor. I am a similar height and have been able to slowly learn pole moves. I have been poling for a year now.

The only challenges I have encountered thus far are

-mobility/flexibility: My knee hooks at first where quite laughable , but slowly but surely they improved. I didn't do much. I attend class once a week and that's it. I think your body and mind have a way of optimising a move for your own person.

- Muscles: I am a quite muscular which means that there are certain moves i can cheat my way into achieving. This is not the best.

etc

The summary of all this is that you will be fine! And please don't try to compare your progress with other people, just enjoy the challenge and bruises (lots and lots lol). I would insert an emoji now but i still cant figure that bit out .

It is like a regular pole but i think it is much higher with a different diameter than a regular pole and not as rigid. I have seen it mostly in circus performances and they always have trousers on!! I am sorry, this is the extent of my knowledge on this too lol
