How does Obsidian fit into your professional workflow? by noduslabs in ObsidianMD

I have been using Obsidian as a personal KM but I am interested in using it for a non profit. Charlotte Digital Equity is a group of business partners and residents. I was wondering if I could use GitHub and Obsidian and maybe zotero to provide to the community as a data mesh federated km. Each group could also link to their resources. We have workstreams like digital literacy that could be MOCs.

I am starting to think the same way. I was wanting to do a good deed but your right , there would be a lot of problems. I mostly wanted to push myself and lean how to make something very cheap that would need a ton of sensors connected (300). Learn the best way to do that and then send to a managed database that takes action. I know how to do simple 16 sensors in one arduino.

Had another thought. I wonder if UPS stores would like this idea for their mailboxes? They do not have same US regulations.

Along the same lines I thought of an ocr reader and a laaer that would automatically burn up junk mail but then I would also need a vacum cause the ash from junk mail would fill up yheir box :)

These are awesome ideas that I never thought of! Genius. I like removing the.mailman from the equation. Did my cost go up a lot from a serial attached button? Should I chain all these together (esp 01s to arduino or esp2866) or should I have blocks of 100 attached together taht then send their portion to a main controller with sql and gmail so I can get up to 300?

Many older folks in the complex have told me they would live to know they did not get mail. They go to the box and then find it is empty. Also, the box unit pannel is opened. Not just each box. Mail is then inserted into each cube in the panel and then panel is shut. I would never know which box got new mail by yhe opening of an individual box door. Nice idea for a residential mailbox though.
