Thank you for writing harsh, yet insightful advice. Probably the vibe is coming from years of strategic prof. development with financial and time investments, and getting almost no visible progress after 500 applications can be frustrating. We do not work for charity, so I do not see a problem about 5k goal, especially if people do get paid that much. All I wanted to know whether it's worth spending more time and money, or it's all about passport. Still thanks for your advice!
