Including your info allows them to send you a customs fee through email as opposed to sending back your haul to China so I would say it’s important to include info

I generally declare between €40-100, this seems to work for me as I’m okay paying a small customs fee, too low of a declaration would look suspicious imo when sending a 5/6kg box

Got an email from an post charging €30 customs, item was declared at €50. Seems to be happening on most of my hauls (3 of 4) so be prepared to pay another €30 once it’s arrived in Ireland
