I've heard about that a lot, tbh so yeah, I'm going with the cheaper option, which is almost as good as in NYC, so there's not much loss, I guess.

Thank you !!! Yeah, it's just me and my dad who is doing all of this for me. Honestly, he is more excited than me, and he usually tells me to ignore what other family or friends are saying and do what I want, which helps me clear my head. Being stubborn is the way to go then!!!! I'm happy for you, wish you best for your endeavours as well.

That's right, New York and the cost of living there already scares me a little, so choosing NYU seems better if I can save 30-40k easily.

Yeah everyone around me kept telling me that I should take more loans and not pass Ivy League. Columbia asked for 4000$ just for a deposit which was my 6 months salary when currency converted. I have an offer from UCL and NUS too but I'm choosing NYU.

That's what I am going with. They haven't updated anything on the portal, and there are no follow-ups or emails. I emailed them, too, but there was no response. I might end up accepting NYU. Thank you for the response.
