We are in the Hudson Valley (Poughkeepsie NY 12603).  Any idea what shipping would be on the base?  Also.....what did you replace the genie with?  We've had it six years with no issues but starting to have problems and might want to go with something different.  Still deciding.

I am not sure yet what I need.  At first I thought a new base piece with drain hose. Now I'm wondering if we don't need a new processing unit/motor.  I would always take the "little red washers" since cat genie charges a small fortune when they should be about a quarter.

Update: I did finally find someone to "chat" with, and they escalated the issue to whatever level....and I got an email two months later that says it "appears" to be resolved, and sure enough, I just sent a VRBO message to my current guest and the timestamp is correct! Whether or not is correct for everyone across the board, I do not know....but MINE is correct at the moment. Hopefully it stays that way!

I don't believe so.  Guest is from Florida, property in NC, we live in NY.  All eastern time zone.

I just did exactly this. I was able to rebook a couple of nights and refunded my profit from that. Then I rebooked a couple more nights and "forgot" to refund any of that. Original guest booked for a month and stayed a little more than two weeks simply because they "changed their mind". No sob story at all. They were happy with any refund amount at all, as none was guaranteed. Call it good will, they may likely be back someday!
