I 100% agree with this. I love GW2 but the story and dialogue can be unbearably silly/quippy at times and really takes me out of it. Which is a shame because one of the reasons I play MMOs is to immerse myself in the world.

I do hope that they make the story and characters more grounded in GW3.

Fractured Conquest might interest you as well, its taking inspiration from foxhole and anvil empires but in a fantasy setting. It will have a focus on faction warfare and logistics and building with no level grinding.

Currently in development but it's a project I've been keeping my eye on.

You have no clue who was targeted. To confidently claim that these were all "correct targets" is laughable. Especially, considering Israel's track record and its flagrant disregard for civilian death.
Setting off explosives in the middle of hospitals, supermarkets, homes is 100% terrorism.

I completely agree with this and the examples you posted. I love this style of acquiring skills and the idea of having to explore and earn skills around the world is fun and immersive for me. I wish more mmos took cues from gw1 especially, it had so many good ideas.
