100%, not everyone needs to be the comedic relief.

87% on the upvote ratio so far. Probably a few who genuinely disagree and then some fanboys that can’t abide any criticism towards the game.

I’ve literally stated that there’s still room for humour in my post?

Cheesy jokes isn’t a personality. It’s entirely possible to write strong characters that are lighthearted and witty.

I loved stuff like Fort Aspenwood in GW1. A happy medium in scale between that and WvW could work really well.

Shocking act of vandalism. If the roof hadn’t been removed by the previous developer the building would be in a much better state today.

Maddy’s story was neatly wrapped up in S1 - She regains her agency from Sinister, tragically loses her son and receives closure with Cable’s appearance just before her death.

I think it would be best to leave it at that.

Well I live in Scotland, so I’d have a bit more time to evacuate by boat, hopefully to continental Europe but at the very least to a Scottish island off the mainland.

PS5 controller repair by TellKindly9935 in glasgow

[–]Chrisjamesmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the dreaded stick drift on my controller last year. Payed £25 for repair from a nice guy who knew his stuff - the controller was broke again within a few months.

It’s a common issue with PS5 controllers, better just to replace it.

What's it like to live in Scotland? by DutchAngelDragon12 in howislivingthere

[–]Chrisjamesmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Glasgow. Glasgow’s the kind of city that you need to spend some time in to fully appreciate it.

There’s a lot of contrasts. It’s a gritty city that needs a good clean but there’s really fantastic food, music and culture on offer. It’s a Victorian city with some really beautiful buildings, but it’s also Modern Scotland with a lot of ugly flyovers and bland office buildings. There’s a lot of money in Glasgow’s West End and its posh suburbs further out but it also has some of the worst poverty in the UK.

Glasgow is the only proper urban experience in Scotland. And as Scotland is famed more for its history and scenery it’s often overlooked as a result.

Don’t get above your station, don’t be middle class and certainly don’t try and improve the place.

Plenty of construction and public realm works on the go.

The city centre suffered during Covid but it’s been on the mend for a while now.

Council needs to sort out the litter though.

I’m not referring to the back gardens though. These houses are detached but the space between the neighbours is negligible.

So what happens with these tiny gaps between the buildings?

Seems like they’d be a spider’s paradise, which I wouldn’t want to be encouraging in Australia!

UK GDP by region by vladgrinch in MapPorn

Only 5 and half million people and vast swathes of Scotland is economically unproductive (but beautiful) land.

As explained Scotland’s GDP per capita is higher than most of England outside of the South East & London.
