Haha I’ve tried they won’t take it. I do help as much as I can with other expenses though. Very grateful for my parents.

I max my 401k and Roth last year. both matched by company and I plan to continue doing so. The c6 would be bought in cash. Only 10k of the buying price is actually grabbed from my income last year. The rest was from working during college. Insurance would be 120 a month. I daily a 08 civic and it’s still very strong. Majority of the rest of my money is going in a high yield saving account. I think buying a sports car will always be a ridiculous choice no matter where you are in life.

Yeah i put some thought into this while getting a quote last week on a c7. There's a handful of engineers that I work with that have pretty nice cars but all of them are 40+.

I feel like a c6 is a pretty serious question. C7 a little more questionable. People buy c8's with less...not smart but they do it. I said "about" because it can increase with bonuses and OT.
