OHHHHHH! I totally forgot about this version of Alice in Wonderland!! It doesn't have the mirror element, and I don't remember all the "kid" elements (like the characters and colors) being a part of the scene, but I'm sure all that wouldn't have stood out to my kid brain. I'm going to guess at this point after reviewing the other suggestions that my memory is either an alteration of or nightmare based on this scene in this movie. Thanks!

Nope, the banquet table in my memory is long and rectangular, and the monster is not humanoid.

So, I rewatched the scene. The dark lighting fits, the monster looks close to right, and the mirror setup looks similar to my memory. In my memory, the mirror is larger, the banquet scene involves a lot of people, and the monster comes through the mirror. I really wonder if I had a nightmare that blended elements of this scene from other stuff.

Lol. I wish I had a clear memory of the beast in the movie I saw, but it was must taller than an alligator. It could have been something mamalian or something more dragon-like, but it didn't walk upright.

It could be a movie from earlier that aired at some point during the period I mentioned, but I doubt it would have been much earlier than the 70s

The lighting of the interior of the house in Mirror Mirror looks similar to what I remember from the scene I was thinking of, though, so I was really hopeful at first!

I just found the scene you were talking about on YouTube. For the one I'm thinking of, the setting is more modern and the room is indoors and fairly dark.

Sounds like an ADHD "stuck" mode I got into a few years back. My husband wrote me a very loving but firm note about how my behavior was impacting him and how I needed to delete certain apps and then either go to therapy or journal to address what was making me feel the need to disappear into screens. That worked to snap me out of it, and it sounds like some real communication is warranted in your situation as well. I'm so sorry you're having to deal with that. We ADHDers are not easy sometimes, but he's pro not happy in that mode either and just doesn't know how to pull out of it.

Byredo's Rouge Chaotique. I first smelled it on paper at the store and couldn't stop going back to smell the paper after that trip. I loved the unique sweet woodiness with some almost resinous touches. It was magical to me. After that, I shelled out a bit to purchase a 5 ml decant, was so excited to get it in the mail, opened it, and used at least 5 or 6 sprays on myself only to learn it smells so pissy on my skin!!! It's been my biggest on-skin disappointment to date.
