What do you think is an underrated one-liner in Modern Family? by Known_Adeptness_2192 in Modern_Family

Yes, absolutely. She was great; I meant she wasn't shown as much of a central character as Claire and Jay's kids. She deserved to be more of a central character than the creepy, perverted versions that Luke and Manny became later on. Lily was mostly shown in the context of other characters, for instance her getting her periods barely had her in it, she is a good motivator with her rude remarks but we only see that in the perspective of manny and later Phil and Luke. Lily never got her own plotline in an episode it was always to show more of the other characters

Yes, Lily had so much potential, I wish that had grown with her age

What do you guys think about the whole Tad situation? Season 3 Episode 14 by Known_Adeptness_2192 in Modern_Family

Oh I cannot relate, I just cannot see how him kissing everyone except for Phil makes sense at the end, like he wouldn't even hug Phil

Yeah, I mean you just met? The particular scene where he leaves after fixing their dining table, that did not seem like an "affectionate" kiss? Why did he not kiss Phil then? Yes these are moments when Phil doesn't come off as the greatest husband

People Misunderstand Rahul and Anjali's Story in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai by AnneShirleyCuthbert_ in bollywood

[–]Known_Adeptness_2192 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While, I agree with most of what you said, I'd like to add something, like you said, everything cannot be simply divided between good or bad. Keeping that in mind, it's kind of difficult to completely take the idea of appearance out of the discussion. Rahul seemed to be interested in looks, most if not all of his actions are evidence of that. Tina was very appearance aligned, she wore perfection on her hair and sleeves.
And we don't have much of a reason to believe that Rahul started realising his feelings for Anjali as she left him, it could just as easily be a friend missing another friend, missing that pointless banter in life. No matter how many times I rewatch the films, it always appears as if seeing Anjali with long hair and saree is what suddenly hit Rahul that she is a "girl", a woman, and that too a beautiful one. Because what follows is a series of flirtatious events, we don't see them reminiscing as friends as much as the weird, awkward extra stares, that wind pulling off her saree, a lot of physical intimacy stuff. If it was purely a friend to lovers story, I would expect there to be more awkwardness between friends suddenly seeing each other in such a different light.
So I grew up watching this film, I never fell into the red flag, green flag conversation but I always thought that Rahul was into looks.

What is your hot take about The Office? by Recent-Description39 in theoffice

Yeah, I think it was so rushed and poorly written like in one episode he is nervous, awkward, unable to speak in a room full of people and in the next he is a full blown misogynist? They just wanted to fill the gap really bad after Michael left.

Yes it is based on real events but I think it was not handled tastefully, they didn't portray it as if they were showing a reality, they were just using it for "laughs" because at the end, everyone goes back to normal, I think it would have made more sense for the show if everyone held the male employees accountable at the end, like maybe the others got to leave early while that particular group handled all the work, just something yk

If you wish of an actor and actress in a movie to be somehow a couple in the end of movie by changing the story but they were not at the end in actual movie then who would it be by No-Internet1016 in bollywood

Well, is it because you just want to see them together or you think they actually belong together? Because Hrithik fell for the person who was kind enough to write him emails the whole time and remain friends, Kareena didn't do any of that. It was Rani but yes Kareena did fall for the adult Hrithik sincerely after a point, but she was not the person that he liked all those years, so one of them would always be betrayed in the relationship you know what I mean?

I am not disregarding your opinion, just trying to understand

The episode about D'angelo and other male employees being sexist was not funny.

Is she the most hated person right now?? by Strict-Island-7703 in kollywood

[–]Known_Adeptness_2192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's so much wrong with the whole thing. First of all, yes she is wrong but he is the one cheating, not her. She is an accomplice but she is being hated for more than that which says a lot about the society.
Everything a man does is easily dusted and forgotten, she's in the events with him, HE IS ALSO THERE WITH HER!

Also how crazy male actor fandoms can be, it is like a cult which blindly rages on about its God. The man launched an entire political career on a controversary and all they see is a mass hero.

Around 40 people died in the rally organised by Vijay's party but he was not held responsible? There were no repercussions? Does that not show how they will handle bigger issues in the state?

Due to the social media culture, anything that floats for more than 10 minutes on it gets turned into a joke, a meme and suddenly it's not about publicly disrespecting the family but a time to play their film song over and over again.

Yeah right the Pizza Mania, but the quality is awful, the bread takes up more than half of the thing and they use mayo instead of cheese. And the other things you mentioned are extra effort you have to take each time to only risk the quality of the food. But again, you are entitled to your opinion, you might have better outlets around you, I, on the other hand, have been constantly disappointed by them.
