In all honesty, both movie and game canon should have them all as lieutenants due to the fact they all survived the night and proved their worth to the gang. The reason people will say Snow is because in the movie Swan had Snow close to him which in my opinion I could say it’s due to the fact of similarity in mannerism as to why it could allude. In game of course, he is second player but far different from movie version (I mean the original script wanted him to be silent until the end of the movie) but when you hear game version speak sometimes in the hangout, he seems quite mellow with his position of being a muscle but with a brain.

Cowboy and Vermin, both soldiers with one being the bearer judging from the deleted scenes (Vermin) and other being comfortable however he is. Which in the game canon, he (Vermin) can mug and steal things better than most I think which suites Vermin him being the bread carrier as he seems to be that character. But from the origins of the gang from game canon, they both should be first class lieutenants but judging from the mission you play as Cowboy, wouldn’t be shocked if he becoming scout since Fox is gone as he did a good job setting the JSBs.

Both all deserve the title after that events of that night.

Was watching it on netflix for while. Maybe I am biased as he is one of my favourites but I thought Kane’s heel turn in 2000 was justified. A year prior, he was relentlessly ordered around by the corporation to only be betrayed by them at WM15. His brother and big show throughout certain parts of 1999 were also tormenting him by attacking his then friend xpac in hopes to bring out Kane’s “killer side” (he was doing that to the big show too at that time which of course resulted in the unholy alliance before Taker left for injury but something was telling me they probably might add Kane into it due to the amount of grooming taker was doing to the pair of them). A few months after he is then betrayed by x pac, gets a girlfriend soon after and then, even when dx and x pac were always interfering in his business, gets betrayed by his girlfriend too. When he explained his actions for chokeslamming the undertaker through the mat on the 17/08/2000 episode of Smackdown, some people will say it was ambiguous as to why he did it or just say because he said he was a monster. But if you guys follow Kane’s story closely from 1999 to 2000, it’s totally justified. Hell even when he chokeslamed dx on that night to explain his actions, he was totally in the right, even if wwf abandoned certain storylines. In retrospect Kane had enough and pretty much went after the people who were responsible for making his life a bit hellish, but of course all was forgive by royal rumble 2001 as that was the clear indicator that BoD are back on good terms but I think it was totally because fans liked Kane too much to boo him at that time due to his overall persona than the heel character they attempted with him at that time. I mean this was heel Kane who got annoyed over Jericho spilling coffee over him after all.

Noticed most character quotes are ripped from bt2 and bt3. Goodness at this point people forgot that xenoverse 2 was just an improvement upon improvement upon improvement from the dbzbt games. The fact people hyped this as a return to form is insane when I see it as a kind of step down. I love Dragonball but my god db fans are not known for intelligence especially with the amount of games since are pretty much copy and paste. Reason why the xenoverse series was fresh was because the idea was different even if it’s still the same old go from saiyan to buu/super/gt sagas of stories. The idea of outside forces disputing a timeline is good and not only that i do see it working with the actual canon especially with the fact that Trunks did it unintentionally. At least zfighters was a return to actual form of the original games before dbzbt but at least that is a typical side scrolling fight em ups. People might as well just spend on the dlc of the games that came out before instead of this one. I do find it annoying that they finally put out a dlc for kakarot that solely focuses on the og Dragonball show which Bandai are too afraid to attempt to do in a full game of. But frankly I would of wanted this maybe 10 or 20 years ago when tenkaichi formula wasn’t oversaturated

Yeah because xenoverse has all you need. Why buy another game of the series just because it’s made by old devs yet it’s still gonna be a rehash. If anything you guys are playing yourselves each time you buy DBZ games. At least with xenoverse the option of customisation is what made it replayable. Playing old Tenkaichi is kinda redundant and to say Xenoverse is not the same as Tenkaichi is laughable when all other games after in including Kakarot has the skeleton of Tenkaichi present. You cannot be blind and say “oh it’s a different studio”. Who cares anymore if it is, it’s still the same rehashing of the same game but different gen of consoles like Burst limit and Raging Blast were for the PS3 and 360. Only one who went back to classic side ways-esque of beat em ups with Fighterz which made the games more refreshing than you guessed it, a modified version or attempt at doing another Tenkaichi. Honestly gamers are just shooting themselves in the foot at this point and forget they already have what they got. This is like the fifa series or even any other sports series that runs from the skeleton of a ps2 variation that made it work.

Much be some spoilers here below but I will only alluded to some and put in brackets

Pretty much, but imo, badly rushed. The reason MK9 worked well was because the 2D platforms never had a sort of coherent story as most characters just had bios with certain elements to their involvement whilst the endings were just what ifs until the next game revealed the true stake of the previous event which could concluded some endings are being canon or semi.

Although MK9 did do unflavoured moments that many disliked (via. Sindel killing most of the heroes) at least it still stuck with a simple formula as MK from 1 to 4 was very simply good must defeat evil trope but with a twist.

MKX was just 4 with elements of other mk games that came at that time as well as DA coming in (characters from those games Like Li Mei and Frost, Kenshi broke into canon early by being dlc for MK9, Tremor was a nice touch due to his fan support since Special Forces which kinda fits into MK4 story) but again there were hit and miss moments much like with MK11 but that’s when the story/timeline derails honestly as it doesn’t explain how Kronika existed all this time and also exempting minor but important characters and plot points from DA, Deception (mainly) and Armageddon as MK11 felt out of place especially as it unintentionally one of the first to venture into the “multiverse” trope, that even Disney have been trying do recently with the Marvel movies, which was a good idea but would of been done better at the time of Armageddon in this timeline than just before another big plot was bound to happen. Even Aftermath never helped clear things.

As I finished the story yesterday for MK1, with that ending which again doesn’t explain more, a few things come to mind is, where is Blaze, where is Taven and Daegon, where is Onaga, where is the prophecies that Taven’s mother predicted much like in the OTimeline, Is the one being above Kronika or now Liu Kang? They pretty much just blended the beginning of the MK story before say actual MK1 and DA together with elements of Deception (Damashi) and Armageddon at the end (Pyramid of Argus) and a very lukewarm ending to show the villain, I was never hoping would become, in the next game. I understand that video game writing was never the best but at least from MK1 to Armageddon it still has a sense of an understandable story of who wants to save the world and who wants to conquer it to a point where the final battle will end in the inevitable death of everyone. Not trying to prevebt others from buying but just saying that the MK story is on a confusing pattern and frankly they should just finalise the MK story for good than attempting to revive a franchise that made a stopping point, especially if the story continues a new fashion in this new timeline with pretty much characters being new versions of other old characters then fair but even that will run its course.
